I will take one or two more replies. Thanks for sharing opinions! :)
No. I've also got a wii u on 5.5.0 but I'm staying, just in case. Developers have said that their exploits work on 5.5.1. The choice is yours!
That pretty much sums it up. Most of the devs are working on 5.5.1 and said there's no real difference between the two from a hacking standpoint, but as a general rule it's usually better to stay lower just because of "what ifs." The real choice is yours.

EDIT: Not to start another Hykem debate (don't do that shit in my thread), but IOSU exploit is supposedly coming before March and will work on 5.5.0. Would it hurt to wait (up to) 2 weeks just to be on the safe side?

Hit a weird bug? or corruption? or missed something.

Played Xenoblades all weekend, clocked in about 8-10hrs of gameplay.
Before that I had ordered a bigger SD card so it could store more games than just one.

Got it last night, formatted to Fat32 and was going to transfer everything over (SD card is also used in vWii HBL so I have a bunch of apps and files on the SD) Instead of having to move an entire game (10GB+) I just skipped the /games/ and moved everything (including the ./wiiu/saves folder) started up Xenoblades and I cant choose Continue, only New Game.

Do certain games save in different places? if so, where? I hope the internal flash memory...(could I use saviine to get it?)

Playing Xenoblade from Loadiine or disc? If from Loadiine, the only place the save would be is in SD:/wiiu/saves/

If you changed from Loadiine v4 to Loadiine GX2, however, the game name and save format has changed, so you'll need to put it into a different location for it to pick it up.

Didnt even know about GX2.
Using Loadiine, think I'm screwed, I backed up the old SD, overwrote the older backup, choosing "Replace all files" I think Xenoblade created 0 byte save files and it overwrote my previous >0byte save files ( I backedup SD (original save) then ordered a new SD, played Wii games while I waited for it arrive, did a lot of updating vwii apps (last time I played vWii, June.2014) so I backed up again and chose "replace" =( dam. Guess I'm wasting another 30mins at character create getting my char, perfect. haha.

Grabbing the new DefPack, and looking into GX2, Thanks 518.

Is your Mario Party 10 the red case or blue case? If you have it open, can you tell me what's on the bottom of the disc near the inner ring? (WUP-P-ABAE 00 JPN S0 ???)

It appears I made a typo for YWW.

Reprint:
Case: WUP P AYCE USZ 101216A Made in Japan
Disc Top: WUP-P-AYCE-USA-0 Model No. WUP-006 (USA)
Disc Bottom: WUP-P-AYCE 00 JPN S0
Firmware: 5.3.2

I give up lol.

Either way, you can use the YWW disc to get to 5.3.2 :) If you try the MP10 disc after that, let me know if it tries to update you above 5.3.2 (I heavily doubt that it will).

Also remember to completely disconnect from the internet or you will end up on 5.5.1! And sometimes if it asks for an update, it's just a game update, which you have to do through WUP Installer.

What would the purpose of this be?

For me, and possibly others, to track the changes between each release. Also good as others can provide updates/changes for you to review and merge as well. I'm sure you know all the benefits of source control management...

There's also a second reason no one's really gone into yet is that you can host the hacks on GitHub without paying a cent. A simple tutorial for others could mean anyone can host their own exploits on the web if they wish.

Tracking changes hasn't mattered much yet since there's no reason to not just grab the latest version. I could provide a better changelog each time but meh. Otherwise I do provide like the last 8 downloads in the OP still.

That's actually a really good point.

@EclipseSin had hacks hosted on GitHub for a little while but then they took him down, so unfortunately that's not a very viable option.
