U can't downgrade anything 10.4+ period without a hardmod and a nand backup from that 3ds 10.3 or lower firmware

Well, it would be more convenient and easier if you have a NAND backup, but for those who don't, this is another option.
I made a new version, basically I added some minor changes from the latest ReiNand commit, and improved the "smart patching" from the official build. So right now there's no longer a need for hardcoded offsets in the main code!
Also, this allowed the regular and NTR builds to be merged. The only needed thing (other than changing the firmware.bin) is copying the "reboot" folder with the ntr one, and only on o3ds. On n3ds you can just switch the firmware.bin.
I won't add the encryption from the official build, though. I think it's useless, as an encrypted copyrighted file is still copyrighted.

Ever thought of making your own GitHub? just updated newest version 3.3 then I got couldnt load reinand.dat payload error. how can i fix this?
I cant load from menuhax and mset. 3.2 worked fine for me.

Can you take a picture of your 3DS? I never heard of that error before. (I also saw you posted this in the official ReiNAND thread, are you using the mod or the official version?)
I haven't changed anything in Cakebrah (which is the loader that exploits the kernels and then loads ReiNand.dat). The cfw itself doesn't have any error message (it doesn't even print to the screen if not for the splash screen, when a file is missing or you use an incorrect firmware it just hangs on a black screen).
Check that the ReiNand.dat is on the root of the SD, try the 3dsx if you're using a boot manager.

Correct. In the new 3.3 build, you can use either the 10.2 firmware.bin or the 10.4, but not both. The 10.2 really only needs used for NTR.
