Hacking I need help with chipset identification and what to buy to start hacking.

Xbox 360 halo 4 slim (320gb)
2012-09-05
DVD-drive: 1532-16D5S Lite-On drive (Phillips)
Dash: 2.0.17150.0

My question: What version of the Corona Chipset do I have (I believe it's 4 or 5)?
Another question: I will need a Cr4 XL and will get the QSB. Will I need a 4gb RW kit?

Please let me know if any other information is needed. Thank you.

It's a Corona V3.
You don't need a 4GB SD R/W kit as it has a standard 16MB NAND.

CR4XL is needed tho.
As well as a JRunner programmer and POST fix adapter.
(I assume those pics are yours so you already have the POST fix adapter)

You got experience with soldering?

Awesome, thanks. I have already ordered the CR4XL and I have the Jr programmer v2.
The pics were taken of my 360, yes.
I have some soldering experience, as well as all the necessary equipment.

Then it shouldn't be to difficult.

Use this thread to install FSD (once you hacked it)
Download the latest Dashlaunch from Homebrew-connection.org.
When the tut says you should get into Dashlaunch, just navigate to a USB containing the freshly downloaded Dashlaunch (install it to your harddrive from the program or copy it from USB)

I soldered everything and hooked up the jrunner 2 (and made sure that all the drivers were installed). The cr4 xl's green led flashed once then remains a solid green when the 360 boots up. I tried to dump the nand, but nothing happens. Not a word on screen or anything.

I took everything off and tried a re-solder, so I'll post the pics to see if it's good. I'll need to find another point to solder the 5v wire, because the cap popped off, as well.

You need to dump the NAND whilst the 360 is off.
You risk destroying your JRunner programmer if you keep it connected.

So dump it while off but still plugged in?

Yes.
The 360's PSU needs to be connected but the 360 CANNOT be turned on.

It should auto detect.

Nothing happens, again. Green light for jr v2, and the cr4 xl is being powered. The console is off, I started up jrunner 0.3 beta (8). I tried to read nand, and it gave me a "choose type". I put in Corona and nothing. (I discovered my dashboard is 17489.)

Remove the CR4 chip and the JRProgrammer.
See if the console still boots.
