Hello Guys,

I am trying to use the Browsehax, however when I try to use the 3ds browser I got the "please update browser bla bla bla". I have read a lot of threads but it seens that no one can solve this,

My 3ds is in the 10.0.0-27U version, there is a way to upgrade the firmware only to 10.4 or 10.3 to avoid this message? (And later use a dowgrade to 9.2).

Well, I think I finally got that 3DS XL set up with rxTools.

Should I set up a Nintendo Network ID on my emuNAND?

What's a NNID needed for anyway?

What do you do if your NNID gets banned?

Does accessing NNID settings still delete illegitimate .cia content? That was a thing, right?

Are there any general guidelines for keeping one's NNID safe from bans?

Thanks for any info about NNIDs.

Hello everyone.

I've recently gotten a "R4i 3DS" (r4ids.cn) but I can't manage to boot it up on my 3DS(only on my old standard DS). I'm pretty sure that I only need to update it but it's always showing me a big "FAIL" on the update screen on my old DS.
My question is: Can I update my Flashcard with a normal DS(not light) OR with a 2DS downgraded to a very low Firmware? Should I try to get a hold of a DS Light/DSi to upgrade it or simply buy a new one?

Ok SO I've downgraded, I've emunand w/reinand up, Browserhax and menuhax working with the ability to hold L on boot to get the menu,
but if I dont use browser hax Reinand crashes 2/5 boots.
and when I run CIA it returns invalid_signiture failures, definitely on emunand so I am unsure what to do from there.

!!!SORTED! INJECT METHOD WORKED FINE!!!

hi all. i have my 3dsxl new, and i haven't time for buying gw cards etc
is there any cfw that don't require gateway cards? only with my standard sd card and pc?

your doomed. you need hardmod if you want to downgrade.
Or use a game to enter HBL.

Yes, ReiNAND. it rather pointless to buy GW now.

I recently installed CFW (Rxtools 3.0) on my 3DS, I've been wondering can I use my nintendoID/Eshop normally? or Is this out of the question?
I understand it probably wont work on sysNand since its on 9.2 but can i access it on EmuNand ?

Yes you can. Either spoof it, or have emuNand at latest version

It's not a tiny detail, region lock is pretty big.

I don't think I explained it right, you need CFW for access to Emunand.
You need to change Emunand region to JPN so that you can access the Japanese eShop and redeem your code.
Then you region change your Emunand back to USA so that you have an english Emunand as well as your game.

It's honestly up to you if you want to set up an NNID.

Get a new one, but chances are if you get banned you will most likely get console banned (meaning that the console will not be able to access online functions at all, regardless of your NNID)

Don't cheat in online games. If you want to cheat, just do it offline.

Oh one more thing, I want to play some GBA games (VC) Im running on RXtools but noticed it wont boot, giving me some error and asking me to power off the device. Anyway to play Virtual Console GBA titles? or only through ROMS/EMU?

FBI has network install.
In the FBI thread has the programs for network install on your computer: use socket punch mod.

Yes, SafeSysUpdater is basically SysUpdater with a few safety checks.

i read that it would be better to switch from rxtools to rei/cakes fw for 10.5 emunand. Wil it give any problems when i switch, i have some cias that are from jap/us (my n3ds is eu). and has someone a tut how to switch from rxtools to rei/cakes cfw. ty
