Hi I have a R4 DS, and downloaded the snesDS zip file.. I also downloaded a Snes game (it's a zelda

). In the SnesDS program, I open the .SMC file and click on save.. But then it's saves it to a .ds.gba file, and since the R4 can't play .gba files :'(

So can someone help me? Is there a way to play Snes games on a R4? Sorry for being a bit n00bish

As someone posted earlier, you can find the compatability list for SnesDS here:
http://luffy.free.fr/nds/snesds_compat/index.php

Again, the compatability is rather low and, in light of your discovery regarding the SAVES, this seems like it isn't worth the trouble.

I'd like to run SNES on R4DS as well... anyone know of a working SNES emulator for NDS?

I have SNEmulDS on my R4. It works, but the graphics aren't great. LttP and Mario World are "playable", so I'm happy. (except I can't beat the World 2 boss in Mario World because the boss isn't visible! I haven't seen any game-messing bugs in LttP, but I played very little)

I have yet to try SNEmulDS. Maybe this weekend. I've tried NesDS on R4, loading Battletoads. But it locked-up after the title screen.

I wonder about Neogeo/Segacd..PC emus for Neogeo for sure requires alot of ram, and segacd emus requires a fast cpu (and a perfect genesis emu). Just a guess since the ds is so slow and lacks alot of ram. I wonder if CPS1 or maybe CPS2 would be doable. Either way it'll require dedicated people to develop :|

Anyone see that Quake2 for DS? dood's getting like 1FPS

For the new ppl trying SNemulDS: the latest version 0.5 breaks alot of games and the author did say he'd fix the sound problem in the next version. I'd recommend sticking with 0.4 for playing games if 0.5 doesn't work well for you. Also if anyone can't see a certain object/etc try to toggle through the layers.

Only emulators I bother with on DS GBC, Atari ST, Atari 2600 and C64. Other emulators dont feel right to me. I do wish the Neo Geo Pocket one was running well.

If in the future SNES Emulation was pretty much cracked and most games worked well, I would personally be content. Very Fully content.

Any emulators for the DS that can play the old school Pac-Man or Ms Pac-man games?
