I have it running at the same framerate, though the speed of the game looks normal to me. I'm pretty sure you can limit the framerate by adjusting the screen refresh rate, but it would take forever to get it down to 30Hz as it only changes at increments of a thousandth of a Hertz. I have also failed to find any type of frame rate limitter in the settings other than adjusting the screen refresh rate. There must be an easier way to limit the framerate. Does anyone want to chime in?
You can manually alter the settings by opening the CFG file in a text editor like gedit.

How is sega cd, ps1 emulation on O3DS in emunand... has it reached playable state...anyone played snatcher on O3DS?
You can forget about ps1 emulation on the o3DS. PS1 emulation isn't fullspeed on the n3ds. And the n3ds is 3x faster than the o3ds. So ps1 will never be playable on the o3DS. Sorry.

.3ds is for flashcards
.cia is for people on emunand with cfw
.3dsx is for people using the homebrew launcher, drag the folder containing both the .3dsx and and .smdh to the /3ds folder on the root of your card. any additional files probably go on the root

Are .cia files more popular to run than .3dsx? I just recently installed ReiNand. Does booting the .cia work the same way as booting .3dsx from HBL?

I just tried ps1 emulation. Rayman 1 is fullspeed! But there is no background music. Only sound effects. I'm still very impressed!

Cia build obviously ^^

can someone post their settings to make psx run at playable speeds, i am using a N3ds and cia builds

the only games i have tested so far are megaman legends 2 ,symphony of the night and crash bandicoot collection

none of them run at full speed, sorta playable but in slo motiong ,like 20 fps mostly
maybe it is just the games

So I've been messing around, and my takeaway so far is this:

Sega CD emulation is freaking incredible on Picodrive. Like the gods are smiling down, blessing me with pixel perfect Sonic CD, Lunar, and Popful Mail. Unreal. Why is the genesis family so smooth and freely emulated? Even by Sega themselves.

PCE CD emulation is pretty bad. Unfortunately, the sweet old-school anime cinemas run fairly slow with glitchy sound. The gameplay parts run ok, but I really just want sweet cinemas and redbook audio in truth. This is my biggest disappointment, as I adore PCE CD.

SNES emulation is mostly good but with some spotty drops in framerate, like Super Metroid at the ship it drops down to 45 fps or so. But mostly the bomb.

NEO-GEO emulation is incredible, as is CPS1 and CPS2. Really smooth, excellent framerates. Loving it.

That's about it! I'm LOVING my 3DS and with this emulation I'm DOUBLE LOVIN IT :)

you must be using an old 3ds i assume then?
i have not yet tried any sega CD yet, but i have tried PC engine CD but only chi no rondo on my N3ds and it runs flawless

also anyone know what the difference is supposed to be between mame 2000 and mame 2003?
i tried them both, but only the simpsons konami 4 player, i noticed one will let you access the konami setting menu with ZL trigger (the one that has been around for awhile"
i just downloaded the latest nightly and tried the other mame build and that one does not have the ZL menu access but besides that what is the difference? what roms are supposed to be used with the other newer mame build?

Gpsp keeps locking up and forcing a reboot after about a minute of use. On 9.2 n3DS with 10.4 emunand. Using latest nightly CIA. Doesn't happen with gambatte or pcsx.u

Edit: seems to only happen with an idle fix patched ROM of Drill Dozer

I'm using the nightly CIA of monday I think, I've disabled audio and vsync and set frameskip to 2.
disabled audio no wonder
also i hate retroarch now i liked it better when everything was a separate emulator,i dont like this core shit,i wish they left them as seperate cause now every time i change a setting in one core it carries over across all of them i think there is a way to fix it so that it can save the setting as different for each core but i don't know how to do it

RetroArch generally allows separate settings between cores, but that feature hasn't been implemented on the 3DS yet, as far as I know. It'll probably be implemented sooner or later.

Pixel perfect? No stretching at all?

Can anyone confirm that integer scaling has finally been fixed in Picodrive?
