Can't speak for 17d7 so might be worth a try, but 17d8 is Downtown no Gaki no Tsukai ya Arahen de!! Gahsuh Kurobikari Land, and usually the US and EU IDs are applied for together.
I wonder if the exheader.bin lists it, but I don't have it to check.

It's part of the game, if you extract the game it's usually there alongside the romfs and exefs.

Though there's no guarantee it's in there, rather there might never have been a problem if it was.

Well I found it. How would I be able to find other title id's (if they even list it). Only way I know to access the file so far is through a hex editor (when changing the actual title ID).

Edit: I found the exheader.bin file, not the actual title id.

Maybe open it in Notepad++ and search for the one title ID we know? Idk, don't know how to do this stuff.

Not quite sure where exactly in the file they might be, but look for a 000017D5 in hex (D5 17 00 00) and see if there are any similar numbers next to it (000017XX or 000018XX) (XX 17 00 00 or XX 18 00 00)

Edit: It looks like it'd be between offsets 0x230 and 0x250. If the only thing there is D5 17 00 00 then the exheader doesn't help...

Yeah, guess you have to do what nanika said. Use a hex program and search around in it.

Wouldn't finding the non patched Cia, starting it up to get the extra data file then transferring it to this version work? I'm thinking the patch is what messed the extra data up.

Here's a screenshot of the exheader.bin file withing HxD. What I have highlighted it the Japanese Title ID.
Now, I highly doubt it, but the numbers on the 10 row (between 08 and 0F) sort of looks like another Title ID.
I'm going to check if it works.

This seems like a more plausible theory than trying to find a titleid that may not even exist yet..

All you have to do is find the unpatched version (traiver should have it) and try to see if it would work. Seems like it should.

Well, there is an unpatched .3ds version. We can try converting that into a cia file, and checking if it's able to create extra data or not.

Oh, looking at that, never mind... It looks like that exheader is missing a lot of content anyway, so it might never have been there.

The bit in the 0x10 row is completely different and just looks like one by chance.

I doubt the extra data would be in English seeing at you'll be using a non patched version to generate it, but it will still work with the patched version as they are the same title id's.
