To simulate closing and opening and fixing 3d bug
Not that I'm aware of. The only way of fixing that bug at the moment (on any CFW) would be to put your 3DS in sleep mode.
This isn't really the fault of CFW developers, we just have to wait on *who ever works on the main emunand system* to find a way to fix this.

"has actually been asked more than once" I haven't read these multiple requests, and if I had seen Rei asking for this even once I would have done it.
And I don't read all the messages in this
At this point it is drastically different in scope and features than what Reisyukaku's builds offer. If anything you should take it as a sort of praise. "My changes are significant enough to justify their own support thread". Ma'am you effectively created your own CFW.
I've been skipping up to half a dozen pages at a time, so I can't comment on there being multiple requests for you to create a new thread. But I've certainly asked you to, for the exact reasons @Aroth cited above.

It causes confusion, and your build clearly doesn't align with the vision @Reisyukaku has for reiNAND, or he'd make it like yours. Mostly it's just about respect for @Reisyukaku and his work, it's a dick move to be posting a heavily modified version of his work in his own thread.

Again I'm going to side with @Aroth, take it as a compliment, there's clearly demand for the modifications you're making, but this isn't the place to share them.

Start a new thread "reiNAND Aurora Edition: reiNAND done the Wright way". Boom! You're welcome.

pretty bad taste
That aside, You can't please everyone. I'm trying to go with what the majority is requesting, and what i feel is best too. I work on this nonstop, get 6 hrs of sleep a night and have obligations in the morning, lol.
I'm starting to burn out, and the negativity obviously isnt helping any.

I'm sorry. <3 Don't hate me.

Can I be honest here? You've given quite a bit to this community. I've never really seen you ask much aside from respect and maybe a beer or two. This is YOUR work. It's done on your time. I'm 110% grateful that you've even given us your time, let alone what you've released.

Thank you, for all of the hard work you've put into this CFW. Thank you for giving us something.

I like @Reisyukaku 's work, and this is my favourite CFW to date. I like that it's fast, clean and works great. When I feel like I need extras, I load up Homebrewmenu with any tools I need, no point bloating this project. Running it in stealth mode (no splash, autoboot) I get as close as possible to my original n3ds operation =)

I do hope you find a way to fix the .:Rei string with the arm code, since it was a nice touch and shows your signature in your work which we are proud to use.

If I could like this twice, i would, lol. This is basically my vision for the cfw.
I'm trying to find a balance between simplicity, flexibility and features.
I have plenty of ideas too, but arm9 is very volatile and temperamental, so that's always fun.

I really like this cfw (even though i'm using the modified O3DS version) but i have to give props to the original developer of such an awesome CFW :)
Not sure if this was asked a billion times (sorry if this has been), but why no O3DS support in this original ReiNand?
Well I can't give the actual answer but I think it was mentioned that it's in the works, and my guess would be that because CakesFW is essentially the O3DS equivalent right now at least.

Quite strange definition of 'fun', i guess

Edit: Btw, keep up with the good work! It's really hard (why not impossible) to keep up with people's expectations, so, don't try too hard. Keep at your pace, you have nothing to prove to anyone but yourself.

I tried setting up cakesFW but couldn't figure out how to launch it for the life of me =/

Dude, you have to put your health first. Everyone wants to see development progress, but not at the cost of you burning out.

@Aurora Wright has since created a new thread for her mod, which is a great start. She's also happily and freely acknowledged that all the hard work was done by you and @mid-kid.

So I think she's on a more respectful path, it'll be interesting to see how each branch develops on its own.

I quit the hacking scene many years ago, tried stuff here and there of course, but this project makes me want to make homebrew again. Thank for all your hard work!
