It's really good! I highly suggest you go with the chronology of its release to know each story, it seems like the Ace Attorney Series are somewhat connected it only changed after Apollo Justice and Dual Destinies, After trying it go play Miles Edgeworth if you also wanted to know the prosecutor path story; the only downside is it is text heavy I also remembered back then I asked if there can be a dubbed version of the game anyway; the thing I liked the most about Ace Attorney is its OSTs and I'm hoping that they won't change the OST of this game since this has by far the best Ace Attorney OST I've heard

It took quite a long time for AAI2 to be fully localized. It's a fool dream to think DGS would be up for a full beta test before the summer, when AA6 will most likely be released in Japan.

And, yeah, I have played all the Ace Attorney series in which you are defender including all Phoenix Wright and Appolo's game..
I am going to start ace attorney: investigation now, it seems preety cool!

OSTs means the official soundtracks or in game soundtracks

I wouldn't know. It was only last year I became a fan of the Ace Attorney series. I was a fan of Professor Layton so I got Professor Layton Vs Phoenix Wright. That's when I got into Ace Attorney. I played the Trilogy, Duel Destinies, Apollo Justice and Investigations 1 and 2. In other words, all of them. Also, am I the only one thinking that Capcom will make Athena Cykes Ace Attorney? They might as well. I think it would be great.

I just stumbled across the thread today and would like to say good luck with the project!

I was one of the main localizers on the AAI2 translation project and person in charge of feedback/help by email for the project. I can't help with the translation but if you still need help anywhere else, I would love to lend a hand.

I have no idea how much of the project has been translated, but I'd like to contribute in any way I can. I clean as part of a manga scanlation group, so if you have any bitmaps that need 'shopping I could lend a hand. I can also proofread scripts.

Great Ace Attorney Major Update:

BurningDesire has left the team after feeling unfit to lead (and slightly over his head), and returned to the Homebrew scene. Good luck to him on whatever he does.

Ketal, as seen earlier, is provisionally in control of the team. Under the current state, the GAA team will be unable to do any work on GAA. (I say this as a member of Team If, we're more interested in finishing Fire Emblem: If before we start throwing major resources at GAA). No one has any intention to cancel this project, so here's what follows:

The first installment of Ace Attorney Investigations was generally boring for me except for the first and last chapters which were heavy story-wise and awesome (the rest felt like a filler for me).
The second one was BY FAR the best game ever released with Ace Attorney in its name!

EDIT: as for me, I first started playing Apollo Justice when it was released (I believe around 8-10 years ago?) when I was in Highschool.
I later found that Phoenix was actually the original protagonist of the series and played them all.

BurningDesire felt that he could not lead the team. Anything else doesn't need to be disclosed unless he wants to.

(Background Note: I'm also a leading member of the Fire Emblem If translation team, Team If.)

Regarding the project, ketal and I are going to reorganize and restructure the team. The GAA fantranslation will still happen. The localization, will not. (Don't get over your heads here). Team If will help the GAA team once we finish our own project (although some of us are already helping). But as is the case with fantranslations, we need people. So if you want to help, please click here or message me).

(Note: I am NOT a leader for the GAA team, I am simply advising/helping - mostly getting GAA to where Team If is.)

The only thing it means is that they'll translate the Japanese script and not change stuff to make the western audience understand better. Jokes, character names, etc.

Also, we can't really complain since you're doing this out if the goodness of your heart.

But I've always wondered...
How can we, whom don't know about the technical side of the project, could help?
I'd VERY much like to help but I don't know how.
And, I'll be taking a vacation in around 3 weeks and would have too much time to invest into this.
