Hacking God Eater 2 Translation (Looking for translators!)

Redie - well, it both is and isn't done. The fact that last update was like 2 weeks ago suggests that machine translation problem has been fixed but then again we still have to wait for the patcher to be released. Well, at least we can assume we'll get a beta shortly (though shortly doesn't necessary mean a week or a month, maybe longer) as Coldbird stated on his site: "I will in no way stop working on existing projects of mine though, so both the Fragment and GE2 translation projects are still en route, although at a slower pace I assume." - so we can safely assume that he already got the files and started at least making a beta patcher

We just have to be patient, won't be a problem for me as GW2 went F2P a while ago so I'm testing it to decide whether to buy HoT or look for something else

Cant even get 60fps all the time on heavenly beast PC. The areas isnt all that big like Witcher 3 and other open world games and yet, the game struggles, struggles to even get 35fps

And you didnt mention the atrocious control theme. I have no trouble with PSP Tokiden ever but the PC version doesnt respond very well to my input and some buttons make no sense. I believe I am a better slayer on ppsspp than on pc.

the original dub itself was horrible, i doubt the fan dub version would be any better

Sourced from Wiki. As you can see, only God Eater 2: Rage Burst is gonna have a localization. God Eater 2 for PSP is not part of that. So stop demoralizing the translators and programmers with these non-sense.

What do you mean by "done"?
And whats up with the dub version. Who would even prefer dub over original voice? Even pre-rendered cutscenes could have gotten a hardsub.

Well I guess you do not really get the point. This is a translation project for the PSP. The news you sourced us doesn't involve news regarding a release in the PSP platform. Sad to say, not all of us have a PS Vita and will not buy it for this game only. The project translation team is giving it their all to complete this, however there are people like you who discourage them. If you have a PS Vita or a PS4 good for you. But if you have nothing else to do but ruin other people's anticipation, please go and quietly shut yourself up.

I understand jeffiroi's concern though. I know some translation project that got cancelled due to the official english release, such as Sword Art Online : Infinity Moment. Sadly, the official release is on another platform, exactly like GE 2. And not all people can afford to buy those expensive new platform (PS4, Vita, etc). Official release won't do us anything if it's not playable on PSP. Also, official release doesn't guarantee to be a top notch work after all. I heard a lot of complaints from those who have played the official release of SAO, saying that there's some weird translation in it. So, i just hope that the official release on GE won't discourage the team. Let's just chill out, and don't bother the team with news that's got nothing to do with the project.

Zero077, that news is few weeks old now so literally everyone knows it. Also, dont trust wikipedia page that is not that very famous (for example, God Eater 2 wikipedia page). Instead, trust on OFFICIAL TWITTER TWITS
