Oh, you have the same printer as me.

Which is the only printer that lets you print directly onto a disc BTW.

EPSON Stylus Photo RXXX series. I have the R220 one.

Greatest printer I've ever had.

I came across a .torrent file of wii apps that included a bunch of 300dpi custom made game covers for all the games out and a bunch that are coming out soon. They are made for a printer but they look great when lightscribed. if u would like a link i mught be able to find it. Otherwise i could ul the covers to a file share if u want.....lemme know

What's the cheapest one of those you can get? I do believe it will be a lot cheaper than lightscribe, and end up nicer too.

I did a bunch of lightscribe, which I was ok with, but it turned out the Wii didn't like the discs, and they're all now wasted

.

I looked around, and it seems the R260 is the cheapest on epson.com, is that one ok? Is it better than the R220?

It would be great if I could get one that is kinda small. The smaller the better, really.

Also, any good deals on printable DVDs and CDs that are high quality?

Well I hate to point it out but.. [superior voice] My Canon ip4200 prints directly onto discs. As did my Canon i865. There is also the new Canon ip4300 along with several other Canon models that will alow you to print on the discs directly. [/superior voice]
I believe there are other several other models of printer from both Canon and Epson that allow printing directly to disc as well as dedicated disc printers.

Anyway, I have had great success with the Canon printers and can recommend them.

http://www.thecoverproject.net/forums/index.php?topic=39.0 (hope I can link to a "non gaming related forum" :S )

Thanks for the info!

How much is the ink? I was considering the Epson until I read that the ink is RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE and used like water. Also there were no aftermarket replacements available.

Can you use third party cartridges with your printer? How much have you paid for them in the past?

@lookout: Which program do you use to print onto the CD? The one that came with my Canon printer doesn't allow me to print the very middle of the disc.
