is your iso md5 checked?

I used MD5 Calculator to get the MD5 of the iso I have, and compared it to what gametdb.com lists. It matches with what they have listed for v1.0, so it's ok as far as I'm aware.

edit:

Ok, I've been playing for a good 1.5 hours since that save point (having saved), and now when I tried the exact same motions as before after loading the save, it doesn't happen. Weird.

probably a one time thing, who knows it could very well be a game bug and not a nintendont bug, some people forget some games had bugs too on original hardware, the thing is if the bug isnt replicatable then we cant exactly fix it since we cant replicate it.

Probably should have backed up the save when I had the chance, then present that with the game's region/version/MD5 for testing.

Basically though, after the first Arwing sequence and landing in Thorntail Hollow, I ran around, checked the store, then saved. Didn't get the staff, nor engage any enemies. Loading the save after relaunching Nintendont + game, and trying to go back into the store is when the problem started.

Post all your settings all of them.

I've tried setting Unlock Read Speed to OFF and the problem still occurred and using another ISO dump didn't help either.

I used an older version (3.352) and it ran the game fine.

Was someone able to boot Nintendo GameCube Service Disc with nintendont? I use native control and real memory card on wii - it blackscreens after initial boot screen.

Preety sure its becuase of width since 352 doesnt have width option and width breaks alot of games, turn width to auto, osreport and log off too since why is that on? that thing is for devs to debug, your basicaly breaking games with that on, manny games crash with that on and your increasing the chance of corrupting your hdd/sd card since you arent using an usb gecko device with those and if you enter some games with that on like ghost recon 2 you will get some corruption on your hdd, also read speed should be off since it can desync sonic gms music stuff.

I dont get why people have all this random stuff set to on and then complain games dont work, btw by turning osreport and log off you will gain huge loading speed since nintendont doesnt keep writing everything it happens on the log.So yeah do that and it will work fine.

WIDTH is very unstable.

just looked at it and not a single patch gets applied to the disc so I assume that it was built so early that all of its contents are different from any other piece of gamecube software out there, to have support for it I probably would have to write a completely new set of patches which is very unlikely :P

I don't recall ever turning osreport and log on either, I assumed it was on by default to report bugs to devs. I'm not using an HDD and I'm actually just running it off a simple flash drive. I'll try this and see if anything changes.

EDIT: Hah, that fixed it. Thank you. I guess I'll just wait for the width option to become more stable. I kinda wanted the games to fill up my screen, oh well.

lol no, is your adapter official? is native set to off?
Yes, it's the official adapter for sure. Native was off, but I tried setting it on, and still no luck. Works just fine with Smash Wii U on the front ports, but only with the back ports for nintendont. The front ports DO work with SD mode if I launch with the controller plugged into the back ports THEN switch to the front ports, but doesn't work launching from the front. Therefore I can't use my USB drive for the time being. Any suggestions?

native needs to be off for the adapter to work, you sure your nintendont is on 382?no other devices besides the hdd connected to the wiiu?

i use my gc adapter both cables on front ports, usb lan adapter back lower port and hdd on back upper port and they all work fine for me.Maybe you messed up your ios58 or something no idea.

only usbloaders turn those On by default, nintendont alone has everything on off or auto by default.

Controllers
  • Multi-players support
  • Multiple controller supports : Gamecube, Wiimote, Classic, Konga, etc.
  • HID controller support via any USB port
  • Custom button layout when using HID controllers
  • Official WiiU GameCube Controller Adapter support (using HID).
  • Bluetooth controller support
  • Rumble support
  • Reset/Exit via button combo

Well, I probably make misunderstanding about the GameCube Adapter's working protocol.

It works trough hid so what? hid reads analog R/L just fine, even ps3 and ps4 controllers trough hid have analog L and R too.
