YES, after 2 days of trying and getting stuck at #5 or #7
this trick did it after 3 tries!
N3DSXL (EUR) downgraded from 10.3 to 9.2!

Just keep trying. If that doesn't work, use a different entry point such as browserhax.

hey so iv uptated to 10.3 and iv gotten menu hax running and browserhaxx but both dont work when i try to downgrade its has the same problem as b4 plz help

Are you making sure it is autobooting the sysUpdater and not Smealum's Home Brew Launcher?

yes it has no boot. file all it has is sysupdater.smx or wat ever it is

does the text glicthing out matter or not but it happens even time i do it

The "sysUpdater.3dsx" needs to be renamed to "boot.3dsx" and placed on the root of your sd card.

I recently have found a way to boot sysUpdater with a higher success rate. I have tested this with my N3DS 10.3.0-28U and it worked in the first try.

First, you have to use an entry point and install menuhax.

Once that is done, download the attached sysUpdater build by @julian20 and extract it. Then place 'sysUpdater.3dsx' onto the root of your 3ds sd card.

Now either back up the 'boot.3dsx' or rename it, as long as there is no longer a file with the name mentioned on your sd card. Now rename the 'sysUpdater.3dsx' that you placed on your sd card to 'boot.3dsx'.

Next, you need to create a folder called updates on the root of your sd card. You then have to download the cias that you will be using to downgrade and place them in the updates folder you created (can't help you here). Now put your sd card in your 3ds and launch via menuhax.

It should now work with a higher success rate then before.

Please comment to let me know if this worked for you.

Edit: This may also have a better chance for installing legit cias with FBI. I haven't tried this myself, so can someone confirm this? Use this guide (https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-install-legit-cia-files-above-9-3.407854/) and do the same thing with the FBI.3dsx file. So far there have been no confirmed reports, but still feel free to try.

Edit2: This does not work with installing legit cias with FBI. Oh well. It was worth a try.

idk if its frozen or not or the text is jsut glitched out i presed b to exit does noting and i don't want to try to downgrade if the text is glitched

ughh after multipule attemps (with browser hax and menu hax ) i have no sucsess just getting the text glich and iv used the sysUpdater.3dsx in the root of my sd and nothing yhhghghghghghflkeahfukbeFKBAESIF

What 3ds firmware are you running? And is it N3DS or O3DS?

It may be possible that only the New 3DS can take advantage of this just because it is able to launch sysUpdater faster than the Old 3DS. Someone correct me if you have been able to do this with Old 3DS.

I have successfully downgraded my o3ds using this method. But now Oothax and browserhax stopped working.
