Do you have the following files in the appropriate directories?everytime i get a index.lua error (O3DS 9.2E)
/3ds/Tinker/Tinker.smdh
/3ds/Tinker/Tinker.3dsx
/3ds/Tinker/index.lua
Yes, they should be. Basically everything in the .zip archive you downloaded should be in /3ds/Tinker on your SD card.the pngs and ttfs in 3ds/tinker ???
Would you mind taking a screenshot of your SD card contents, particularly that of the /3ds/Tinker folder?still get a error
Huh, now that is quite curious indeed. My theory is that since you seem to be placing it on your gateway NAND it thinks it's on the SD card but it's actually on the NAND so the paths don't match up. Is there any way to place it on the SD card and not on your NAND?here

i always get index.lua error

No problem. I'm not exactly sure how the EmuNAND works on lower firmwares since I'm on 10.3 myself so I can't test it. Are you placing the files in your EmuNAND partition or just directly on the SD card? CHMM2 would work because it doesn't use hardcoded directories in its source code, Tinker does unfortunately.how do you mean it (sry i am a bit stupid today)

but chmm works
My pleasure, I hope it's useful.nice, thanks for this
I have one more idea, try copying index.lua to the root of your SD card.i cant acces my emunand partition i copy directly on sd
Perfect, I know the problem now. Open index.lua in a text editor and add the following line to the very top of the file, before anything else:i got a blackscreen
System.currentDirectory("/3ds/Tinker")
Nope, it needs to load the resources before it CD's to /Themes/. Usually this isn't a problem because lpp-3ds sets the homebrew app's folder to the default working directory, but in some special cases such as yours, the default working directory is simply root so /. In this case, we need to CD into /3ds/Tinker so it can find all the PNG and TTF files and display them, then we can CD to /Themes/ to load the themes. The reason you get the black screens is because it can't find any of the PNG or TTF files.but there is an entry named System.currentdirectory("/Themes/")
isnt this a problem?
