I successfully downgraded using sysupdater and oothax, then after many many attempts I managed to get sliderhax to work so I could reinstall oothax, I even managed to get the rxtools CFW to boot an unsigned CIA but ever since the first time I tried I haven't had any luck.
I successfully downgraded my 2DS from 10.3 using tuxsh sysupdater. Everything works fine in sysnand but browserhax boot rate is poor. CakesCFW boots fine. The only way for me to install an unsigned cia in emunand was to inject a cia installer into the health and safety app. Even with that, the only unsigned cia I installed (hblauncher_loader) needed a full emunand reboot to show properly in menu, before that it stayed gray. FBI doesn't have any privileges in emunand if launched from sliderhax(it can't even delete cia files in SD).
EDIT: Currently Updating emunand to 10.3. Let's see where this leads to.

Downgrading from 9.5.0E to 9.2.0 on my o3dsxl was successful, but damn, was I sweating. It took around 30 attempts to load sysUpgrader using both menuhax and oothax. Will attempt to install a cfw later.

It should not, but better try.
EDIT: For now I can confirm emunand 10.3 as working on a downgraded 2ds. Nothing new, but still cool.
EDIT2: FBI still bugged from sliderhax. But now I am on 10.3 emunand, which is cool.

also how do we open .3ds files?
I'm trying another unsigned cia in the 10.3 emunand. Importing looks good.
Yup, import succeeded and the gift works ok. Title is detected properly at first try, this is better than expected. Unsigned title runs flawless. Idk what's going on but injected cia installer works perfect now.
The only issue is FBI not working through hbl in emunand. I can live with that. Nice.

After Downgrading my 2DS 10.1.0.27E I got the black screen. I shut it down and removed the SD Card. I started the Recovery Mode, with L+R+A+UP and closed it. Then i normally booted the 2DS, wait a bit and bam. It works
No issues with my downgrade at all. Got the file pack of 9.2U from [insert site here] and it worked in one try with no problems coming from 10.3U on Menuhax. I was able to boot into MiniPasta CFW but not regular Pasta, not sure why. From there loaded CIA and installed to Health and Safety. That's as far as I've come as of now.
Edit: also was able to backup NAND before and after CIA install.
