Somebody is nicely volunteering to try out your software, and you tell the guy NOT to try it out???

By all means, TRY IT OUT and tell is how sad you are after you bricked your 3DS!!

Sarcasm aside: I wouldn't attempt that unless I know I can restore my console back to it's proper self after messing up...

DO NOT TRY
Eh, standard Cyanogenmid disclaimer. Maybe we'll learn that some code is dangerous, especially code you don't understand.

#include
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
*/

If he has the knowledge to merge the code in a way such that it works, I'm sure he's at the very least aware of the risks of running it as is.

I love the "...and if you point your finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you" part :P

It is no longer in development. Still, if you already have access to homebrew, don't update.
So I am completly fine with themehax only?
Just making sure I really don't want to be the only idiot that can't downgrade

Well... yeah. The average Joe shouldn't try and attempt to pull this one out.

What is a legit CIA though? How is it different from a normal CIA?

The cia's that are legitimately encrypted by Nintendo [i.e. come pre-installed on a console] are different to homebrew cia's and will work via installing without patches, you just normally wouldn't have access to the service allowing you to.

Might I suggest uptodate OP of thread with percentage of completion/What's actually done and what isn't.

Their really is no such thing as a completion percentage when it comes to code, at best it's an educated guess. There's absolutely no reason why you couldn't come across something when your 95% finished, that will take you longer to sort out than the time of development up to that point, it isn't an absolute thing.

Fair enough. But it would cut down on the shitposting imo
