Can't i do what i thought i could? Why would i buy a new SD? (i want to create a brand new NNID)
Well, most people have several SDs lying around. If you don't, you'll need a special software tool to remove the partition that the emuNAND is created in (it won't be visible when you just put your SD in your computer and look at it in windows explorer/file viewer). You should be able to find info on this forum as "how to remove emuNAND from SD card" is a question that gets asked regularly.

Can't i just format EmuNAND from the gateway menu? That should give me a brand new Emunand?

Oh yeah I guess you can do that. I just didn't think about it lol. (Strange blind spot). If you accidentally carry over an NNID from sysNAND when you format emunand you can just format emunand (from settings) to get rid of it. I guess there's no games associated with that old NNID that you want to keep?

You don't need a special tool or software to remove the emuNand partition, you can do it in Windows via command line.

Well, thats the issue. Most of my games are just plain roms. However, i do got 1 Estore game, Pokemon Shuffle. Im not sure if its tied to my NNID, but i was thinking of extracting the save to the sd with Savedatefiller, put it on my PC (along with the rest of my entire SD) format emuNAND, put it all abck on the SD, create a new NNID on EmuNAND, download the game, and import the save back. Would it work?

Also, my SysNAND is freshly formatted, should not have an NNID atm.

Yep, extracting the save and injecting it back should work. Maybe check the game is still available in the eShop first.

One final question. What on my SD card should i keep? Obviously all the .sav files, but what else? There are numorous folders and files. For example, i do got some GBA games i played on RXTools. If i format my emuNAND but keep those files, the games should go, but the data stays on the SD

You should be able to just copy back the whole Nintendo 3DS folder I think ... Since you're formatting emuNAND on the same console that shouldn't stop the folder from working. May as well try it and report back if it's working.

Are the ones with the saves still intact Pokemon or Animal Crossing? I think those games save to the rom - so if you keep using the same rom you'll still have the saves. I don't know much about savedatafiler etc so if you injected the FIFA save and it still didn't work I can't help. But I bet someone will.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

For the gift wrapping bug you have to format sysNAND with the SD card out after creating emuNAND.

I tried several games.

- Lego Harry Potter
- NSMB
-Mario 3D land
- Zelda

All of these worked

(haven't tried the pokemon games)

I haven't used Savedatafiller, i just dragged everything back on the SD

Also, before i formatted EmuNAND, i did format SysNAND, and idd, no gift bug, but i couldnt login on the Estore.
