Sounds like whatever this "browser time warp" is might've messed up your emuNAND's browser then. All I know is that on a typical N3DS 9.5 emuNAND you should never see the 9.9+ browser nag (and if you're on O3DS, which I doubt since you mentioned 9.5, there's no reason not to be on 10.3, which would have no nag). If you have a backup of your emuNAND I'd suggest restoring it back.

It depends. Which version is it? Do you have the game card or is it the digital version? The digital version has a save file checker that checks to see if you're running the latest save or not. The game card lacks such feature.

If it's the game card version, use svdt
https://github.com/meladroit/svdt/releases

download the svdt.3dsx, svdt.xml, and svdt.smdh and put them in SD:\3ds\svdt. Then launch homebrew, launch sdvt with AlphaSaphhire, and you'll see a file called "main" under your game card. Save that to your SD card. (Pressing Y copies it I think) "main" is your game save. Don't delete 'main' from your game card, instead just reset your save in-game. To restore, just highlight "main" from where you saved it in your SD card and re-copy it to your game card.

However, if you have the digital version of AlphaSapphire, then if you try to back up your save and restore it, your file will corrupt.

Also, do not worry about my uncertainty with the buttons. It has a list of controls when you first boot up svdt

It'll work regardless of if you have retail cart or digital copy, because svdt handles secure value overwriting automatically.

Awesome. I actually have the cartridge so it seems like I should be fine.

Only if you're on 9.9 or higher.
I can use Browserhax just fine on 9.2.

Is this as of today? If so looks like I got my 9.9 done just in time.

Well, the "feature" that allows for the browser to phone home to block the browser if it's not at the latest version was added in 9.9. A good chunk of 9.9 systems were affected back when this was first implemented by Nintendo because the server the update nag was coming from wasn't blocked by Smealum's Tubehax DNS. The thing with the update nag is that once you get it it cannot be removed (unless you're on N3DS, in which case it can, but O3DS users are SOL), thus effectively killing Browserhax for anyone who kept their 3DS connected to the internet around that time.
Of course the URL was added to the DNS a couple days later or so, but by that point a lot of 3DS systems had been affected. Obviously if your 3DS wasn't online at the time - like my 9.9 O3DS was - you never downloaded the update nag and Browserhax still works for you. Keep in mind too that updating via cartridge still kills Browserhax - as Nintendo now ships cartridge updates with a dummy browser update that effectively bricks the browser until you update through wi-fi.

Change your DNS settings. Set the Primary DNS to 107.211.140.165 and Secondary DNS to 107.211.140.065. Then turn off, turn on and go to the BrowserHax link asap. Works for me every try.

ThemeHax supports custom themes now.
So i tried this today, and it gave me: "The Internet browser cannot be used at this time. Please check your network environment or try again later." Can someone help me? :(
