I'm not sure why, but whenever I scroll over a badge and then back to a folder, the home menu crashes and the console automatically restarts. I'm running 9.3 w/ HomeMenuHax, custom theme installed.
You did everything right, I just accidentally broke compatibility with nonexistent extdata. Grab the latest and it will work.Tried to run GYTB. System menu 9.9U, Ironhax 2.5. It said it was creating the extdata folder, then checking for existing Badge Arcade data, then gave some "I AM NOT ENOUGH" error and some code that I didn't have time to read because the app reboots after a few seconds later. I don't have Badge Arcade since I'm not even on a high enough firmware. Do I have to set up a folder on my SD card beforehand, or can anyone explain what to do here?
...Huh. Not sure what's up with that. You're the only one to try it on 9.3 so far, maybe Nintendo's stability updates actually make a difference after all.I'm not sure why, but whenever I scroll over a badge and then back to a folder, the home menu crashes and the console automatically restarts. Thanks, works great. It's still surprising to me how this whole system is part of extdata and not part of a whole firmware update. You did everything right, I just accidentally broke compatibility with nonexistent extdata. Grab the latest and it will work.

awesome! question do you think having them sorted the way official badges will be possible at some point? what about not overwriting previous custom badges? loving the work you've done with this so far. i've spend the last 3 days worth of free time on making badges.Nintendo Arcade badges will now no longer be deleted. Category and layout information will still be lost, as always. I also ask that you continue to create custom badges and do not distribute the official ones.
Can this be done with Eshop titles I tried with Ironfall but to no availPresumably some part of the BadgeMngFile that I skipped filling out would caused a read from uninitialized memory, which would sometimes happen to work out by chance. e.g. it reads from badge set 0 despite badge set 0 not existing.
Pedro, look up the european PIDLow for the app you want, e.g. 00022000 for settings. Then name your image whatever.00022000.png
Everyone else, the download in the main post has been updated with improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments made to enhance the user experience. If you get errors on opening badge settings, try running the latest version. I'm also curious if the same changes that made things work for Crimson will do the same for firmwares below 9.5.
I can't seem to get it to work, all it seems to do for me is delete my badge data and not write anymore. I've tried running with badges placed, without badges places. With freshly downloaded badge data and with the erased badge data. It'll say it succeeded but I can't figure out how to actually place them. Am I just dumb, or is there something I'm doing wrong?
Nope. Just system titles. Here is My custom @smealum microSD Management badge launches straight to it

That's the point though. I can't update until I can actually access HBL and reinstall Ironhax. Right now it crashes upon Homemenu ROPBIN Ready (says Ninjhax 2.1 beta at the top) and boots me back to the system menu. Previously it only did that with wifi enabled. Thus why I want the 2.1 boot.3dsx file as right now all I have is the 2.5.
Folders as in actual HOME Menu folders? You just pin badges onto an actual pre-existing folder, press the top right option button in your badge box, then "attach badge to folder" However, you'd need 9.6.0+ to do so, pinning badges to folders wasn't introduced until that firmware.anyone know what the ID for folders are?
If the payload was stored in the save, it would still work. I never reinstalled Ironhax or anything, just came on one day and couldn't access it.That does not depend on the boot.3dsx, but the payload. The payload is stored in your ironfall save file.
I'm sorry but there's nothing you can do unless you can access homebrew some other way.
Editing a png image you can make transparences by erasing. This depends on the tool you are using.also how do make desire transparent background? I'm making some cool badges
