Hmm, playing around with the Mystery Pointer doesn't seem to help break the limit of support convos, still freezes, so further testing will have to be done.

Also, I'm curious, where exactly are the support convo files located?

That sucks-- I guess we're going to have to search more to get around the freezing. And in terms of where the actual dialogue is located, I'm not sure yet, since my PC has been busted recently (hopefully that will be resolved soon) and I can't get programs like Every File Explorer and the Fire Emblem Archive Tool to work on my Mac the same way I can Nightmare, RomFS Extractor, etc. So, I haven't really been able to dig into the files in the way I would like.

The convo files are located in romfs\m\E the file names are japanese you will need the FEAT tool to edit them
from what shadowofchaos725 did with the Morgans

i think it might be possible to add/or replace convos to pairs that didn't have convos
after i did some tests we might not get a "Rufurufu master race" like shadowofchaos would want though this method or i just screwed up somewhere
i would like the double morgans

Well, this is a strange issue then, I think the character editor tool itself probably has weird interactions here.

I have twin female Morgans, this was achieved by simply cloning her.

The game itself created and enabled support between the Twin Morgans, if this had been done by editing the static.bin and adding it without removing another one it would have crashed, meaning the fault probably lies in how the tool itself interacts with these changes, maybe it's because the empty slots aren't really empty and the data needs to be shifted to accommodate the new supports? I'll page @shadowofchaos as he is more well informed in this than we are.

I think we would to some how add some part of data to add supports because it is blank so it crashes
or the file it self has a size limit
I also think for the actual convos we would need to add the name of the new convo to a file that has the names of the support files and some how link support to the convo
unless we make a support convo engine of sorts

I've been looking at the decompressed static.bin.lz through HxD and have begun to be able to identify where certain pointers are/the layout of the file (such as finding Avatar_M, his class, supports, etc). It would be worth testing whether directly adding a support through this file and circumventing Character Editor would still lead to the game freezing.

It's worth a try.

Also, after further testing, I used your static.bin on my ChromxMaribelle file, saved it after your file removed the marriage, then loaded the game normally, and they still show up as S support, meaning that even after the supports had been removed the game still flagged them as being married to each other.

IIRC Supports could be added through the spider exploit and AR codes because you'd take a ram dump, locate where the static.bin.lz was located and change it within the RAM itself, so it's worth a try to use manual Hex editing and see where this leads.

I dont think we have to fully use ram hacking to add supports what shadowofchaos did was rom hacking maybe a little ram hacking
after think it over it seems that the game makes supports related children units not the static.bin.lz or any file

Who did you remove from their support pools to have them support each other?

And how did you get the game to correctly flag both Robins?

Vaike

I used save hacking to flag a avatar from the avatar logbook to avatar story i will show how i did it after afew more tests

(side note vaike crashes if u select him in the support menu but he can still be married off by select his partner instead of selecting him)

You could avoid the crashing if you took away a different character's support from MaMU and FeMU and gave those two characters a support with each other. Like, take away MaMU's Vaike, FeMU's Donnel, and give Donnel and Vaike a support.

here is what i under stand so far is that for a character to have any support screen they have to have a support with one of the 2 avatars if u remove both genders of avatars from that character's support pool selecting that character in the support menu crashes

Huh, that' interesting. I wonder what causes that. I'd really like to find where in the game's files it has instructions for how to deal with supports-- that could really help us.

where ever the game stores that info might lead us to changing the limit of supports (if thats what causes the game to crash)
and making our own convos between characters

I found two glitches 1st is if use a dlc level that has the avatar talk to anyone mid-battle selecting one of the two avatars crashes the game don't use avatars at all for these levels if u have more than one avatar in the save.
2nd whichever avatar that is first on unit select then go win a battle then save, the save will think that the avatar2 is the main so changes the name on the save to the avatar2s name if you want to fix this name back to avatar1 name make sure avatar1 is first on unit select win a battle, save, restart game, load save then save again, the name will be fixed
the name changes which avatar the story is about.
mini glitch
Validar in chapter 6 can mistake the 2nd avatar sprite for the main avatar
the main avatars portrait still appears
(this glitch doesn't do any major changes but who knows i am still testing)
another mini glitch
sometimes when one of the 2 avatars level up they won't say anything
this seems to be rare
