That ... would have been nice to know from before. Just spent the last half an hour wondering why I couldn't get anywhere on it.

Just to confirm though:
We can create an unsecured network to switch MACs and emulate other Nintendo Zones
We can emulate the two Euro locations you added in
We can't emulate the locations for McDonalds since it's unsecure and uses attwifi, etc. as seen on homepass.info?

Pokemon center is universal, the event is region-locked. We cannot create unsecured networks because of Microsoft Virtual Wifi.

if you have us xyoras version,just change your router ssid as

Code:

McDonalds Free WiFi

no password then you can get hoopa via internet

if any pokemon event happend you can check ssid here
router can use ssid with SecurityMode 0
choose one local right
then test if it work

hi the wifi option im using for the streetpasses is not connecting to the internet anymore is there something i can do to fix this i have tried disconnecting and reconnecting to the wifi no luck i have tried a few netsh cmd commands that i know of nothing there any help in this ill be grateful
OK IP4 is connected but ip6 is not connected to the internet is there any fix for this?

Yes for unsecured network we have to use something else than windows.
I don't know for the specific PC, if it is distributed via NZone, maybe.

most events in 7-11 NZ
this NZ use pokemoncenter SSID

ok i was able to streetpass once before but now im not getting anything can some help me fix this my wifi is shared and both got internet access except for the host network it doesnt have ip6 but it has ip4 when i did before the networks had internet access in ip4 and ip6

a desktop PC with a wifi USB dongle (wireless USB adapter)
old 3DS 10.3-28J
windows 10

I think maybe this is win10 problem

my situation is after enable adapter it not restart hostednetwork

after some research I know something
we can homepass 2way
1. router with ssid attwifi or NZ@McD1 no password
so Virtual adapter can not do that becasue it must use key
2.NbaHomePass.exe with wifi USB dongle
because Nba has his way find some ssid and password,but he do not want open it to pubilc so he write in program

I must disable desktop PC adapter use my wifi usb dongle connect internet
is it possible not do that？

Hi, newbie here.

I followed @DarkKnigh_t 's guide and have successfully created the Virtual attwifi and connected my 3DS to it (connection test is successful).
I opened the StreetPass MiiPlaza and enabled the StreetPass functionality.
I closed the lid to enter sleep mode and tried using the MAC cycler softwares (already tried MACycler and MACpass).
But my 3DS did not receive anything... (it's supposed to have green light?)
I opened my street pass plaza and the population did not increase.
Is there anything I missed?

Note: this is actually just a preliminary goal, my end goal is to use the streetpass functionality for Bravely Default.

Please help.

I use N3DSXL v9.4 if that helps.
Just read in the first post: 15/12/2014 -- VERSION 9.3 and .4 change some stuff in Hompass, but it still works!, Windows method users, you'll need to follow a new way.

Uhh. Does that mean I can't use windows method? Is any of the Android methods work for 9.4?

There are some issues with Win10 but I cannot test because I do not have any Win10 computer.
Most of existing MacCyclers use a vulnerable method, I will try to force the hostednetwork start.

You are trying to set up an unsecured NZone with a password, that was working before but now you have to use NbaHomePass on Windows. Or just use another method.

ok still having trouble with my jpn 3ds not getting streetpasses the nz blinks but no streetpasses though my na 3ds gets streetpasses like crazy cant someone help me with this?

That's weird. It should print something before the mac list.
You cannot use NbaHomePass with another cycler.
