Gannon defiantly gannon. We need to make the MOST op gannondorf possible to create a smash 4 gannondorf challenge. Also... gannon.
The Ganon challenge was a little funny in Melee, but rn.. yknow, he's the worst character in the game for a second time in a row. Maybe the Ike Challenge this time..

We need to make sonic have more spin attacks. Im thinking something along the lines of a B B B B B B combo
Also, can we fix the smash 4 nerf to zelda's down B? She would be top tier with that

Making sonic have more spin attacks would require model-animation editing that I simply can't do; I can probably look into the code for transformative final smashes and see how to make the game simultaneously load Zelda and Sheik, but it's probably not even possible in smash 4 3ds.

I'm getting an error when trying to patch. At first I thought that my edited files were too big, but I tested patching the unedited files in and that made it error too.
I just downloaded DTLS.exe today, so it's not out of date.
Code:

Having an issue.

Trying to replace Marth's model files - or at least some of them - with that of the Darknut from Smash Run. I keep getting to this, and oddly the folder becomes read-only.

I tried to patch dt and ls multiple times, both with the edited files and the unedited files. I tried redownloading DTLS.exe. I even tried re-dumping Smash, extracting dt and ls again, and patching that, but I still get this error.

What causes this error?

Hmm. Not quite sure really, what were you trying to do when this happened?

I tried to patch dt and ls multiple times, both with the edited files and the unedited files. I tried redownloading DTLS.exe. I even tried re-dumping Smash, extracting dt and ls again, and patching that, but I still get this error.
Code:

This is a strange one.. It seems like it's failing to decompress the resource(us_en) file that was pulled from your DT file. After this happens, is there a resource(us_en) or resource(us_en).dec in the same directory as the application?

It's going alright thanks :) I know what you mean with gaming time. It's precious where I can get it these days.

That must be rough. Productive I'm sure but hard to balance with daily life

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Man, that's beyond my brain  I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
  • Maximumbeans @ Maximumbeans:
Sounds good. I actually did soldering but like 16 years ago for school so uuuuh probably rusty haha
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.
