Not sure I understand your problem, never used savedatafiler.
The file your should dump is named SaveData.bin if it can help.

On another side, I tested with most major browsers and fixed it (That include FF, Chrome, IE11, Edge and Opera).
Could someone test on Safari since I don't have a Mac (and since every browser I tested caused troubles except Opera, expect to help me to debug)?
I also moved the About popup to a dedicated page (only in English, translating a changelog isn't exciting), you can check every browser version tested here.

Be sure to refresh your browser cache! ;)

Okay, it should now work on Chrome, Firefox and Edge (spent 2 hours only on finding how to download the generated .bin in Edge... dammit MS, I though you wanted to get rid of IE reputation).
I also dropped the offline version, everything is here: TFH Save Editor.
From what I briefly tested, it worked like a charm. Can you test it?

Thanks! Works a charm :yaysp:

Thanks to everyone else on the thread too. Great work!

@Goombi, so the things left to do for the save editor are only these ones?
No, I'm about to push a 1.2 update to tell you which chest contains the treasure in the daily riches, a way to edit the said treasure, plus to edit the shop.
Also a way to edit your ingame name but I'm not sure my UTF-16 handling will work flawlessly.
You can totally suggest stuff you might want to see in it :)
I didn't even notice that you added me as a tester.
Thank you! :D
You tested it, so yeah :P

EDIT
1.2 is now up :)
  • Added a username edition (might be unstable with 2 bytes long characters).
  • Added Shop edition.
  • Added Daily Riches reward edition and tells you which chest is the good one.
I also added a few things to the todo list.

Extra precaution when editing your name with weird characters. I didn't pushed the experiment too far but it was too easy to do for something complicated as managing encoding conversion directly in binary.

This doesn't seem to work for me. Using a 3ds rom; extracted the save with SaveDataFiler-SDK-5.2.2-CFW using Gateway Emunand. Used the extracted SaveData.bin with the site and downloaded the newer one. Replaced the newer one with the older one on the SD card. And... imported with the SaveDataFiler.

When loading the game, the savegame is corrupt.

What region is your game?

This is the rom I use, so European one: The.Legend.of.Zelda.Tri.Force.Heroes.EUR.3DS-CONTRAST
I think that might be the problem.
I have a USA ROM and did the EXACT same steps as you did, and mine worked fine.

Perhaps the editor doesn't have EUR ROM support?
I don't know if the offsets are the same for both regions.

Ok.. this is a relief.
I've followed the steps again I posted before. The big difference I saw is that my nickname the first time was some kind of Chinese in the web editor. The second time, it was indeed the nickname I use. So there was already something going better then before.

Made the changes I wanted, just loaded it and... #profit.

Thank you for your support!

Would you mind sending me the savefile that failed to load (if you still have it) ? I probably have a wrong UTF-16 reader/writer.

They are the same ;)

It's already in progress. I completed the Den of Trials and I'm checking what changed in my save file.

If someone has an idea: 0x410 are attempted stages, one bit = one stage (with one shifted bit: 1st bit is unused).
But on 0x415, it should be equal to 1 if you attempted the last stage of the Den of Trials (like 0x355 0x395 and 0x3d5 depending of solo or multi completion) but it equals 5. Any idea?

Alright, I finished with my save editor (finally)! I'll add an icon maybe tomorrow (don't feel like opening up illustrator), but regardless, here it is.

Attached is the binary, and here's the source: https://github.com/fafaffy/Triforce-Heroes-Save-Editor

You can drag/drop and save it. I tested it on my own profile and it worked fine :).

Changelog:
1.0.0.0:
- Initial Release

1.0.0.48:
- Added icon

1.1.0.98:
- Fixed Materials saving when sorting columns
- Added current costume field
- Able to unlock/purchase/set "new" flag to all costumes

1.2.0.110:
- Fixed Materials saving when editing fields manually (oops!)
- Added current voice field
Have you updated you executable for the new update with new levels and outfits yet?
