I tried to put DLC folder in ms0:/PSP/VHBL/DLC/ but gives error in game loading for me, want to work for me was put DLC folder straight in the root folder ms0:/DLC/

Alternate Method DLC - Not Working

nploader.prx in "seplugins" folder, with entry "ms0:/seplugins/nploader.prx" added to "vsh.txt" which is also in the "seplugins" folder. Then place the games download content, in the root of the Memory Card in a "DLC" folder you must create, example: "DLC/UCUSxxxxx" ... then enable the plugin from the VSH menu after TNV starts and select "RESTART" from the VSH menu to make the DLC usable in game.

Ok Thanks, I didn't need to use the "nploader.ini" file, to create a path, because I'm using the root of the memory card, testing now ... Finished Testing, still not working, the feature is just broken apparently. Anyway its no big deal, I was just curious. (Disgaea 2 did not list all the files that were not supposed to work, so thats a difference as opposed to not using the plugin of nploader.prx where it lists all the files, but no work either way) (Not to mention Disgaea 2 is the worst in the Series, Second Worst would be Disgaea 4 LMAO).

You don't need VHBL, just create the folder and use ARK

Danke schön. I've both TNV and ark, just want to run emulators, though that vhbl is the right tool for that. By the way, there is a vhbl folder where my psp filer and ftp program is located. Is that what you mean? Which one shall I use for emulators, TNV or ark?

I use ARK myself. You can just put homebrew in the vhbl folder and run it while youre in ARK.

First need to purchase for $10 and download Mimana Lyan Chronicle for the PSP on your PS-TV or PSP VITA, tested working on the PS-TV

1.DOWNLOAD OFFICIAL CMA for PC (Content Manger)http://cma.dl.playstation.net/cma/win/en/index.html (qcma didn't work properly)
2. Transfered Both Save Files
3. load save, press Triangle to bring up menu, go to Settings, go to Party, go back, go to Positions.
If not done in that order then the exploit will not work (Should Flash Green)
4. Copy Content/PS Tv System to PC/Applications/PSP Other/Mimana Lyar Chronicle (transfer game to pc)
5.Copy Content/PC to PS Tv System/Applications/PSP Other/Mimana Lyar Chronicle (transfer game to PS Vita)
6. When you go back to your PS-TV home menu you will see the new TNV bubble
7. Launch TNV11 bubble, when service menu loads, go to advanced and select install 6.60 files

Well bought Mimana Lyan Chronicle, and downloaded the Official CMA on PC. And followed the step all the way to 3.

I loaded the save file and it flashed green, and I'm confused on the 4th and 5th step. why would I copy that to my computer then put it back.

And I have the TNV11 bubble I launched it but it shows "an Error has occured (C1-2858-3)"
What am I doing wrong? Any help?

Edit, I think I seen what I did wrong. will update in a sec

dont use the official cma it doesnt copy everything to the vita so use Qcma also the reason you copy it too the pc and back is so it does the bubble data again so it gets changed to ark or whatever you used

Ah, okay, thanks for letting me know. Didn't know the point of moving the game back and forth and now I do thanks a bunch :).

And, currently copying the game back to the vita tv. If this attempt fails going to go with QCMA, I've been using the official one haha. XD

Edit:There we go. Got TN-v11 installed and ready to go woot woot.!

Sorry for the bump again, but now that I have it installed. Do I have to keep Mimana Lyan Chronicle on my VitaTV? or can it be deleted?

theres no way of detecting you are using an exploit unless its some kind of exploit for cheating on an online game

pboot.pbp the hack that is TNV is added to the game folder when you run the exploit and it flashes green, but in order for TNV to make a bubble, you must copy the file from your psp-vita to your pc, and then from your pc to your psp vita, your psp vita then reads the contents of the pboot.pbp for TNV and then creates a bubble for it in place of the Mimana Lyan Chronicle game ... anyway your doing good, just follow the steps, but remember to replace the SAVEDATA.BIN back to the original one in the save folder, when you use the method of renaming a SAVEDATA.ZIP to SAVEDATA.BIN in the TNV folder in order to transfer the files from ARK.

Using the Guide in the First Post you should have, TNV installed, and you can stop there if your just playing PSP Backups, but if you continue you will uninstall TNV, and then install ARK to setup the files for ARK to use another exploit game other than Mimana Lyan Chronicle, when you reinstall TNV, then you will have your ARK bubble, so you can have both, since TNV does not run PSP Filer, you will need ARK, believe it or not, it took me a good 30 to 40 hours to finish that guide on the First Post, because it was all new to me at the time, if it only took you an hour or 2 then your a fast learner. :D

(make sure you make a clean copy backup of Mimana Lyan Chronicle without any hack run for future reuse, download it from SONY, then back it up using the Content Manager, make sure you do this before SONY issues a firmware update, because if you didn't backup a clean copy by then, the only way to get the game is to ask someone for a backup, to swap in your license files or else you will have to update your firmware and wait for a new hack game)

(You have no choice but to hack your PSP Vita if you want to play Final Fantasy 20th Anniversary 1 and 2 editions if your in the usa, plus about 100 more psp games that europe and japan have available from SONY's Store we do not here in the USA, if I'm not mistaken)

A bit off-topic, but i need some advice here, I am debating to buy a second Vita, just for cfw etc. I am pretty sure, Sony is going to release another FW to screw up everything for ark and tn-v. What firmware should i go for the 2nd vita, I believe most of them ship with 3.3x. Is setting up bubbles under 3.3x easier compared to 3.55?

okay so how do i install both of them? bit confused with the guide

This is what razor did and what helped me:

ARK Bubble:
1. Download And Install Mimana Iyar Chronicle
2. Download FW355_Mimana_US_ARK_installer.zip And Extract It
3. Copy ARK_01234 And ULUS10492DATA 0 To PSAVEDATA\xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
4. Reload Qcma's Database And Copy Both Save Folders To The Vita
5. Launch Mimana Iyar Chronicle And Load The Game Save Then Press Triangle To Bring Up Menu And Go To Settings Then Party And Wait 3 Seconds Then Go Back To Positions, If Not Done In That Order Then The Exploit Will Not Work.

You Should See 1 of 3 Colors:
Red (failed to open pboot)
Yellow (failed to install pboot),
Green (successful).

If It Flashes Green Then Backup The Mimana Iyar Chronicle Game To Your PC Via Qcma Then Restore It Back To Your Vita.
You Should Now See ARK Where Mimana Iyar Chronicle Was Previously.

TN-V Bubble:
1. Download And Install Pet Saddle Club Demo And Run It Once
2. Download And Extract FW352_TN-V11_bubble.zip
2a. Download 6.60 Eboot And Extract It To TNV_00000 And Rename It To 660.PBP
3. Copy TNV_00000 To PSAVEDATA\xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
4. Reload Qcma's Database And Copy The TNV_00000 Folder To The Vita
5. Add And Run VitaFTP On ARK
6. Connect To Vita Through Your Computer Or Something Like FlashFXP
7. Navigate To PSAVEDATA\xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx\TNV_00000 On Your PC
8. Navigate To PSP\GAME\NPUH90024 On Your Vita
9. Transfer The TNV_00000\PBOOT.PBP To PSP\GAME\NPUH90024 On Your Vita
10. Backup Pet Saddle Club Demo To PC Using Qcma
11. Restart Vita You Should Now Have TN-V And ARK Bubbles On Your Vita

im sorry but to install both tn-v and ark do i need to buy mimana and pool hall pro on the psn store ?

https://store.playstation.com/#!/en...icle/cid=UP1024-ULUS10492_00-MCPSPGAMEUS00100
https://store.playstation.com/#!/en-us/games/pool-hall-pro/cid=UP4090-NPUH10091_00-POOLHALLPRODLGPS

(I can only guarantee the instructions on the first post, unfortunately PSP Games work at 100% on the PSP Vita, nothing else does with the exception of "Divi-Dead" you need to install TNV with Mimana lya Chronicle ... ... ... ... then you should stop there, there's no risk of bricking your PSP Vita, but you may need to do several hard resets ... ... .. ... you must have Mimana lya Chronicle in order to hack the psp vita with 3.55 firmware, after that you can use Pool Hall Pro, its only 3.99, if you use a 20$ PSN Card you can buy both games and have enough left over for a 5.99 PS1 Game or whatever you like ... ... ... ... you can substitue Pool Hall Pro for a demo game, people claim that works, I'm sure it does, but I have not tested it. The Demo Game or Pool Hall Pro is for ARK, mimana lya chronicle is for TNV if you plan to install both ARK and TNV ... ... ... ... TNV is more stable and it has a GUI (grphic user interface), ARK doesn't, if you use One Menu or other its still not as stable. ... ... ... ... You should do the hack now if you want to because once Sony updates the firmware, your PSP Vita will be locked out of hundreds of PSP Games that North American does not have access to that Europe and Asia has access to)

The maximum I've managed to transfer on a 64 gig memory card was 18 gigs, the Content Manager from SONY game me an error, then after I transferred 18 Gig maximum or so, it was just under 16 gigs before it gave me an error, after that I just transferred about 2 to 5 gig packages. Its simply the partitioning system, as if right now I only have 3 gigs left free on my PSP Vita's 64 gig memory card (just because I want some free space so the memory card isn't slowed down by writes, if that applies), about 40 psp games installed from backups, plus about 6 PS1 Games installed from PSN I purchased, and and the "Citizens" PSN game I purchased from SONY with the update for PS-TV that is around 6 gigs after the update, well worth it.

Pangya Fantasy Golf Protection Fix, every psp game so far I threw at my PSP Vita worked, except for Pangya Fantasy Golf, it requires 6 bytes of information to be patched in the eboot.bin file and then it will work fine on the PSP Vita. As I've indicated, ALL THE PSP GAMES WITH PROMETHEUS PATCHES APPLIED WORKS ON TNV AND ARD, tnv doesn't crash after opening and closing more than a few games. the hack looks for the eboot.old file after it finds a Prometheus patched file

3538428: 98 00
3538429: 3A 00
3538437: 40 00
3538438: 06 00
3538444: 20 00
3538445: 4E 00

Using a 32 column display in Winhex that is the fix for Pangya Fantasy Golf. You will need to patch the eboot.bin file in order to play the backup on PSP after you install the hack.

I got a problem with PSX games.
I downloaded Castlevania Symphony of the Night from the internet.
These two files came out: a castlevania....ape file and a castlevania....bin.ecm file containig zip file.
I extracted the second zip file and removed the ecm extension and made a .bin file.
Converted the .bin file to EBOOT.PBP with PSXTOPSP ver 1.4.2.
Named it to FBOOT.PBP.
Copied the FBOOT.PBP containig file to PSP/VHBL via vitaFTP. Now it looks like this PSP/VHBL/SLES00524/FBOOT.PBP
The games doesn't appear on TNV but it does on one menu.
When i launch it nothing happens.

Where have i been wrong?

load up TN-V then goto memory stick and press triangle then square to arrange into groups, goto Playstation and your game/games should be in there and they will launch providing you are using the game2vhbl plugin

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.

I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs

I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way
