n3DS 9.0.20E:
Installed manualy the new payload from smealum. Installed the new 2.5 HBL from smealum also.
Standby is working. eShop is working. rxTools is booting fine from 2.5 HBL. CakesFW does not start for me on 2.5 HBL.

but i have already move the firm folder on rxtools directory im not stupid

Nobody claimed you were stupid. There's no need to be throwing around insults when trying to get software to work that is in such a state of flux as this. You say now that you moved the firm folder to the rxtools directory, but how was anybody to know that you had done that when all you had said is that you were confused by the three files and no firmware.bin.

I'm getting the same freeze on Installation Data Suite as laharl22 with the latest build (cbd97b4) where the firmware is no longer combined. I have put the firm folder in rxTools/. I have tried with and without cetk in rxTools/sys. I get the same result from c0d9f68 (the change just before the removal of firmware.bin).

o3ds, sysnand 4.2, emunand 10.2

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

there are a fix for the f;;king latest nightlie ?

While nobody called you stupid, you are acting the part well.

Which rxTools build are you using?

Compiled Latest Build (9711d25)
Changelog (9711d25)
- Use Cetk to Decrypt Firmware
Changelog (ba2fcbf)
- Added ARM11 Codeset

This build works for me (o3ds, sysfirm 4.2), but when building it directly, now with commit id 027551c after the github was repaired, it does not compile. The latest commit (cbd97b4) does compile, but freezes during installation with a single progress square filled in.

For me I can't get them to work on my n3DS.
I think there was some change with the firmware.bin on the newer releases.
So I will wait until 3.0 in november.

rxTools_10-22-15.9711d25 works with 2.5
Cakes also works...

Guys, stop whining about the latest nightlies. Nightlies can get messed up, fked up, etc.

If you can't get it to work (and don't know what is changed), use last semi-stable version which is built on 2nd Oct (This one lacks ninjhax2-like hax support. You can use THE latest nighty's /ninjhax/boot.3dsx).

I'm trying to install rxTools through themehax on my youngest brother's o3DS, previously installed it on my other brother's o3DS and all went well.

However, I'm not having any luck with either the newest build (cbd97b4) or the previous one (9decfe4), they both get stuck on "INSTALLATION DATA SUITE", and in both cases I used the cdn_firm.py from the respective versions and put the firmware.bin/firm folder in the correct location.

The previous nightly I used on my youngest brother's o3DS worked just fine, though I don't have that one anymore. Does anyone know what was the last build that actually worked?

Edit: Seems 9f48bb8 was the one I used last time so I will try that one.
Edit2: That one seems to work fine, so nevermind :P

Do what I did. Use old release for data suite to install, then update the 3dsx :)

SylverReZ @ SylverReZ: Also nice. Never really watched Fallout on Prime, but sounds like a good show. +1
