I already replied but thought I would share one thing I have noticed about patching, people seem ever willing to extoll the virtues of it's demise yet seem to be ready, willing and even demanding when it comes to trim the roms. This would place it firmly in that extra step region, sure updates are not necessary and you can pretty much use whatever OS you please but I still find it ironic.

I have a supercard lite.
It's great. The patching software lets me also trim and soft reset.

But it's a pain when want a rom on the chip as fast as possible. Patching sometimes takes a while.

And gba support is TERRIBLE. Not that I ever use it, but when I do, I don't even try.

Extremely dissatisfied. That's why I'm try to sell it

. Its old as hell, has almost no rom compatibility, and sticks out of my Lite hella far. The main things its good for is DS game dumping and I have no interest in that at all, and its excellent homebrew compatibility, even before DLDI.
I'm going to get the M3 Real asap, and probably buy a DSLink/Ewin2 Lite this weekend as well.

[EDIT] Forgot to specify which cart I had

. Its the GBAMP CF. I was essentially mislead into thinking that it was good (I was clueless about backups at the time) And bought it. Should have bought something else...*smites self and person who mislead me D:*

I'm definitely buying a DSLink/Ewin2 Lite by Monday. Does anyone know which is better? (I have a flashed DS so the DSLink's lack of Passme isn't a problem, and they are both the same price on sky2k.com so price isn't a problem either).

Supercard SD:

It's begining to show it's age. I dislike how it sticks out of my DS (fat, the DS has 3 good games, so I don't use it enough to see any reason to get the lite) and a few recent games have issues with it, but ALL homebrew runs and it runs gba stuff, although poorly.

I am waiting for a game that doesn't run and is good to buy a new card.

EZ Flash 4 Lite Deluxe
It's great, most of the homebrew I like works on it because of DLDI. DS games have all worked great for me, as well as GBA. I like how the GUI is easily skinned also. Only downside only fits in the DS Lite, and it isn't necessirily flush, but I have one of those ArmorLite case things by Joytech, so it doesn't bother me one bit. Satisfied.

Supercard MiniSD
Not really mine, but my gf's. GBA slowdowns are annoying, gf is kinda annoyed she can't play Summon Night on it, and also the GUI isn't skinnable I beleive on 1.70 fw, and even on the lower ones, it was that great looking to begin with. I feel like I should have gone with EZ Flash 4 MiniSD, overall, it gets the job done. Somehwhat satisfied with it.

The SCONE rules. no problems as far except for updates

Mmmm Scones!! I have an EZ2, G6 Lite and an R4DS. I thought the EZ2 was great (after I figured out that the ez client always deleted your last rom). The G6 Lite had a bit of a learning curve at the beginning but is a fully featured card that can play almost any game and run any program well at this point. The software and the support for the card has been very professional. The R4DS is what we all had always hoped a flash card could be...drag drop and play. So far it's great. My grandmother could use this card....and yeah grandma is old!

Very Happy with my M3 simply. I can't play GBA games, but it's no big deal to me as I am done with GBA.

This sucker plays my games perfectly and it's so easy to use. Very nice build quality too. It doesn't feel like the typical cheap chinese plastic.

I love my R4! Unless things change drastically with future games, I am tempted to say it's the only DS flash cart I'll ever need. Still, I want a slot-2 flash kit for GBA games, and it'd be nice if someone made something that just copied from the slot-1 kit and worked with the R4. But aside from GBA support, I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the R4!
