no, it started it like I never started the game before.

Yes, I understand that. Captain toad may do that to you as well. I was asking normally do you get a choice of save file with pikmin 3, or does it throw you right into your game?

Does this dump loadiine saves or regular? If it's regular saves is there a way to restore them as well?

I guess what I'm getting at, is if someone could hook me up with a smash game save with the characters unlocked I would appreciate it a lot I just janked mine.

Can we import these saves onto a different Wii U? I'm assuming not, but that would actually be incredibly useful.

If my theory is right the saves that are extracted and work in loadiine should be sharable. Those which aren't will corrupt or won't extract.

Loadiine saves can be copied from your SD. This does disc or system saves. Actually, smash is the ONE title we can play online using loadiine. If someone uses loadiine to play, their save should be sharable and usable in loadiine which will work online. Otherwise I don't know. I am thinking save modding/hacking/ram patching-and-saving is right around the corner.

As it stands now this is a read-only extract. no write to the system.

isn't it possible to replace files with cafiine? so what is if you replace the save files which load at the beginning and try to normaly save the game?

Should be, but I don't know why we need a modified version of cafiine to extract the saves to begin with. I just presumed because of that we can't just use the standard cafiine to inject saves, plus I don't know if they are encrypted/signed/linked to your NNID or whatever nintendo calls your profile that made the save. All versions of loadiine should be the 'same' to the WiiUs'

Update:
Version 0.2 released, most (I hope all) of the non working game are now working. I was able to dump all games (8) I have with no problems in 10 minutes;)
Make sure to use the new server! I had the reduce the dumping speed to fix games like Bayonetta (from 40kb chunks to 3kb chunk) , but you can use the old speed again when you start the server with "fastmode" as an argument.
e.g. "saviine_server.exe fastmode"
On most the games this makes not a huge difference, execpt for SSB4. The SSB4 save is 60MB big, so you should use the fastmode for this game!

Thanks to everyone who tested games!

Using Saviine 0.3 I was able to dump all of my games except Donkey Kong

It just sits at the loading screen of Donkey Kong and I can't exit without pulling the power cord.

the same thing I had on 0.2 .. after about 3 tries I deleted the root folder and let the server create a new one. then it dumped it correctly. I don't know if it was because of the folder or just "luck"

Can someone help me understand what Saviine is exactly for, and what it is not for?

As I gather, you can load your legit game discs and dump the save files which can be then loaded into loadiine, letting you resume your game save on loadiine play. Is this correct?

Is the game save still encrypted, such that we cannot trade game saves with each other, or begin working on editors on the PC?

Will it cook me breakfast?

All important questions.
