Hacking God Eater 2 Translation (Looking for translators!)

recently created this account to say great work for the team in this project. sorry can't help you much with the project cause i only know English and Indonesian.. i have been waiting for this god eater 2 since it's first released

Damn people are using Google Translate to translate this. I did just check some newly translated files and they're A MESS. A REALLY BIG MESS! Don't hold your hopes up, there's gonna be plenty of another translations to be completed before this. Even if somebody try to clean those garbage lines, you will understand more playing the game in Japanese before this.
I'm just leaving some examples here:
"Well ~, the wreck was, it was wreck!"
"A little while ago of the phone, of become the two hotels on the inner, it is in scary father"
"Though is completely volunteer, while you do not know <br>, to say Tatte got Saleh to the "boss" of the neighborhood ..."
I really hope that this project will get an actual Japanese-English translator.

I did see some parts getting machine translation prior to this and I tried to fix as much as I could - trust me, it isn't fun. The workload on the reviewers as they have to fix everything in the end is still there and we don't have that many translators to begin with, which is why the project was made open (and tbh if machine translation is okay for the sake of a quick release, the group might as well go with it in the first place and recruit translators later). Beta releases are cool if you want a glimpse at the game and help with reporting whatever bugs there may be to perfect the patch, but there may be people interested in the story and the characters waiting for something coherent. Like you said, reviewing would take ages so I guess they can wait as long.
But well, we got to 99%. It's up to the team if they want to go with beta releases right now.
I'm completely new here and i'm eager to play the game. I'm normal-to-decent in japanese, but that's only with romanji. I'll try to help out a bit with the google translator lines, but it's hard without context. At least i think it might be slightly better than it so i'll put my translations too. It would help to at least fix the machine translation lines and give them some sense.
Well Morido, I would like to get a beta - I know some text will be unreadable but I actually finished entire Burst + DLCs yesterday so I'm eager to get at least gameplay and enjoy the story later, and with beta translation I will be at least able to determine names of materials to actually be able to upgrade my stuff and aragami weaknesses in Fenrir terminals (unfortunately I am going to start learning japanese in three weeks so for me the original text is a big bunch of "WTF-what-do-these-signs-mean) - and even with machine translation parts I will be able to do that so a beta, which, judging by the tempo of work could be even released today. Some people play it for story, some for gameplay, but some people like both and are starving to get at least some - like me
Though in the end it's Coldbird's/DevNoName's decisions if they upload a beta.
Yet don't understand me wrong, before going to university I was a bit helping with a few translations from English to Polish and I know that for translators machine translations are a nightmare to fix so I know you get a bit mad hoping that it'll be completely perfect and free of any mistakes and then you hear somebody shouting "I want a beta" while you are not done. It's just so that having completed GE:B with both normal style and another time at my favs (Buster+Assault combo) I crave for something new

Oh, and before I forget - if either DevNoName or Coldbird read it - could the patch work not only with 1.40 but also with unupgraded version? My PSP decided to die horribly two weeks ago and I seen in internet that 1.40 crashes between missions on emulator, so I'll be pretty much forced to play it for PC at least for three weeks until my next paycheck, plus I guess some people won't have PSPs at all, I even have two friends that aren't pirates (they buy the game) but don't have a PSP at all and never had it

Woah! the last time I check the path it was 86% ,and now 99% so fast .I'm half Happy but half worry that there maybe a problem @@

3 strings left - could somebody, I dunno, call Coldbird to tell him that some people want to play even such incomplete incompetent beta machine translation so a beta would be in order?
The translation is now complete and they reviewed more than half already. For now, let's wait and see this project done.
But Warlock, I wanna plaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay, for starters it's enough if materials are translaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaated <goes to cry in a corner>.
