The statement in the OP is still correct. It says the RAM Hacking method is not compatible with 9.5.0-23 and up.

Pretty sure it works from 4.1-9.9. The homebrew method works in SaveDataFiler which can be used with Gateway.

I just wanted to send some letters
One of them was for a villager I moved the house of
My 3DS froze
Then everything went on normally
Until I had to drag and drop the letters
The hand to select them moved to the top left
I went to the home menu, my circle pad steers itself
Had to remove SD card, now the weird sh't moves itself at unexpected times
Home Menu is dead
Still could remove my Wi-Fi connection
But can't repair anything
New 3DS dead?
I'm so sad

I've been trying to research how to place perfect trees in my town (of my native fruit) and I saw that I had to change the item's flag to do so. Could anyone please tell me how to do that? Thanks in advance!
Not yet I don't think. A few people have been trying to change the mainstreet shops but it seems that the code is unique to each individual game - or as far as we know.

Depends. The homebrew method is very glitchy and there have been people warning each other not to touch the dock other wise it can ruin your save and you won't be able to visit the island any more.

Why do need to know a hack to remove a pwp? You can just do it easily in-game.
The only known method of removing PWPS via hacking is through editing with a hex program.

@marc_max , I've been using your improved editor with success. "Remade" my town with almost everything that I wanted, even with the acres designer. But I have one question, sorry if this was answered before - there's any way to fill the empty slots (where buildings, rivers were before editing) with grass through your editor?
Currently I have a lot of places with empty soil at my town, due to the editing...

Use spidertools to regenerate grass in your town. If you don't have access to that then tough-luck, I'm afraid.

Surely since there's a spidertools QR code to regenerate your grass then this must have been documented? (I'm led to believe that all the QR hacks do is inject and alter your game save's code whilst you're in-game, right?)

It works, the program however doesn't fill the "default" dessert parts of the map

Do you mean, parts like these ones below, between the grass and the train "rocks"? (I take this pic before using NSLE, it was fun running from the train XD )
After using the program, even these parts are with grass now... the only part without grass is my Main Street.
Weird, I still have dirt patches in my town, however it fixed the parts were my neighbors houses used to be
IIRC, the game rewrites its predefined grass wear patterns at 6:00, so a few patches may appear tomorrow.
PD: Be careful with that plaza tree position! It may crash your game if Redd, Katrina or other tent try to appear next day.

Actually, I already have the Plaza tree at that spot since the Spider exploit, months ago... but every tent (Redd, competitions, etc) still appear at the original plaza area, on the upper-right area on the map - I didn't touched this one, still at the original place; just changed the tree to the left.
Could be possible... Perhaps the tents are "linked" to the plaza, and not to the tree?

I've been playing around with this on a fresh save of New Leaf so my best shot would be to reset till I get a map that has thee dock in a place I want.

I forgot which thread I read it in but yes the plaza cobblestone is where events occur. You could have multiple town trees if you wanted. (I have 2 just cause)
What I didn't find out that..if you have two plaza's....will there be 2 events/2 isabell's?
I have an issue where my digital copy of AC won't recognize the save data I inject. I used NSLE to modify some things and when I injected it back into the game it gave me an error saying, "Cannot use save data because it was not the last data saved. Delete data?".
I tried using the backup I made before I even modified a singe thing but the same thing arises. Anyone able to help?
