Well i initially hack my wii with "wiibrand" last week, in this tutorial i find "wiimod" with a lot of files and install all of them, then i use pimp my wii and check and install all that PMW said xD... You think is too much?

I have my wii with an SD Card, the launchers and apps are in the SD... The flash drive has the games only, game in this case Super Smash Bros. Brawl

The tutos:
(Wiiflow from this)

If you let PMW install all the components then the problem is the flash drive. Try a different one or get a small USB hard disk.

Hi, I don't know if anyone is wanting to help with my issue, but I have a NAND installed and extracted on my USB drive, how would I be able to actually load the NAND on that, that way I can play my games that are on it?

Sorry if this post is a bit to late, but:

When ever I try to load Wii Play, the wii makes the noise and there is no disc inserted so it makes the noise of no disc and flashes blue. When I try to load it, the screen flashes with what seems to be a loading bar then just goes to a black screen. Waited 10 minutes, nothing.

If I was to run it with a blank disc inserted, the loading bar would go to around half way then output the same result.

If I was to put in a store-brought random game it would proceed to load that store-brought random game, not Wii Play.

I am completely new to all this homebrewing stuff

The programs installed on my SD Card are a few emulators:

Wii64 [Nintendo 64]
GenPlus [Sega Genesis]
SNES [Super Nintendo Entertainment]

I think that's it.

Please help!

[BTW, i'm an aussie so I have a PAL Wii, but the iso I got was NTSC according to WBFS Or what ever it is manager, so Maybe thats the problem?]

Also, when I go to select Wii Play from WiiFlow, it has heaps of what seems to be the same game, I tried multiples, they all gave the same output.

I have got the cover art downloaded.

I tried another game [Balloon Pop] and it gave me the same results.

Please help!

Does anyone have fanart working for plugins? Also is it possible to display fanart in sourceflow? If not this would be a pretty cool feature. As would banners or trailers in sourceflow!

Hello all, Long time WiiFlow user here but have been out of the wii scene for a while. I modded a friends wii the same way I did a lot of others, but for some reason this wii will not launch games in wiiflow, when I click play it shows me the white loading bar at the bottom, gets stuck about 1/4 of the way then jumps to a black screen and freezes, doesnt reboot to system menu or anything just freezes forever. Here's what I've tried so far.

Multiple (Known working from other Wii's) HDD's. Even formatting new and just putting 3 games on their just for testing
multiple different d2x cios versions, all came from .wad, Started with using the SAME ones I've had on my working wii/sd card and even DL abz pack and used those
changing from Auto cIOS to force cIOS inside wiiflow, all slots.
made sure everything was up to date, HBC, IOS58, etc.
Formatted wii system and started over from scratch, included reinstalling system menu/shop channel and IOS80
Clean install of wiiflow, rev 1075 and 1054 from Abz pack again. Including deleting the save game info for WiiFlow
Made sure its in the correct USB port, I've tried them both with multiple enclosures/HDD's.

I'm at a loss as to why this is happening, I got a second unmodded wii and started from scratch on it, did the same thing and ended up with same result so It would seem something I'm doing wrong or maybe corrupted cios files or something, any ideas would be greatly appreciated! I now have 2 wii's doing the exact same thing. Thank you in advance for any suggestions!

Edit: I don't use many options such as Emunand/plugins/emulators/trailers/GCN through nintendon't or DM/DML/Homebrew/disc or channel launcher. It's a pretty basic setup I'm after, just wii games.

It seems that there is nothing wrong. However, I would suggest to try with cIOS d2x-v10beta52 [base 56] in slot 249 and cIOS d2x-v10beta52 [base 57] in slot 250. Also I could sugest to try an alternative loader, for example Configurable USB Loader. Another suggestion: use a reliable source, as ModMii, for getting the wads of IOS/cIOS to install.

I tried this out, Downloaded and used ModMii to get cIOS cIOS249[56]-d2x-v10-beta52.wad and cIOS250[57]-d2x-v10-beta52.wad and installed those. I also downloaded cfg usb loader from modmii, but got same result on both wii's! Some games stay at a black screen and others will sit at black screen and eventually go to "An error occurred. Press the Eject button, remove the Game Disc, and turn off the power to the console." error.

This is starting to frustrate me, i have 3 wii's here, I've done exact same mod and the black one works no issues, the 2 white wii's have same exact USB loading issues.

Well, obviously your problem is not related to Wiiflow. Maybe you should ask someone else who has a (old?) white Wii; sorry but I have a red one and I'm running out of ideas. As a last resort: make a resoftmodding from scratch, but following another guide (use ModMii, if you did not already before).

Try PimpMyWii and have it auto patch everything. I've seen weird things like this when someone has manually updated from an older system menu and not everything got patched correctly.

Thank you guys for your replies and insight! Pimp my wii did not work either, however I did find the problem FINALLY!

Turns out the PCB logic board was bad for the DVD drive, and its required even for USB loading. I never knew this before, I ran into a thread with someone on here modding the wii/taking out his DVD drive to put an HDD inside the wii and found that it did'nt work without the board connected. I opened all 3 again and put a known working drive in and it WORKED! Learned something new thats for sure haha.

Looking back at my syscheck it does say "Could not detect the drive date!" - I did not think this could cause problems, but turns out it does. Either way, thanks for the replies i was out of ideas!
