This really works wonders and I'm glad I bumped into this as this was the only way to get rumble world save on a non gateway device. Weirdly enough I can back up saves from carts, but does this also mean that I can write back to carts certain saves?

Since I managed to dump my save files from my xenoblade cartridge I don't really know if this enables writing the saves back to the cartridge. I figured it works the same way like the save transfer tool, a one way from physical to digital.

So, I'm writing on behalf of two friends I'm trying to help hack 99999VR on to their Mario Kart 7 save. They're both using cartridge versions. One has an Old 3DS firmware 9.9. And one has a New 3DS firmware 9.9. All they're getting on their save data manager folders are 'replay' files and system4 and system5. There is no 'Main'. Anyone know how to fix this?

main.dat is only for pokemon, what you have is right.

This works wonders with Pokemon Omega Ruby. I don't need to use my o3ds for the web hack to get access to the save file now. Play on my N3ds and get access to the save data, really pleased!

No this is what I mean it works on a 3DS it can't hack 3DS game only DSi and SD games But it works on a 3ds someone ask earlyer if the save_manager could hack DS games he was told only 3ds games and I said if u want to cheat on a do game get an AR. That pick there that's the AR that works on 3DS. But it canto cheat in stuff for 3ds games.

Have you tried getting the Japanese rom and downloading the dlc, then loading up the English rom? If I'm correct it should work the same way as MH4U handles it's DLC.
