I can't have RxTools working...
I successfully installed the MSET on my N3DS 9.0 after a lot of try.
But always the same problem.
Can't install the data at the very first boot. "Installation failed" and "Hold R to enter in the Menu".
So I can't enter RxMode.
I tried a lot of things.
I taken firmware.bin from ReiNand 2.1 and rename it 0004013820000002.bin.
The 000.bin, if I put in SD:rxTools/data, I have always the same installation problem.
What I can do?

this is a known issue, we have yet to properly implement the install data process for N3DS, as such, even when the 0004013820000002.bin is located at the right place, you will get the same error, but you can non the less boot rxmode, just ignore the error and launch rxmode in sys/emunand, it will work properly
No, I can't even enter in RxMode.

The latest rxinstaller work for me on n3ds 9.0 with MSET donwgraded 4.X
N3DS 4.x DG MSET is stable for now. I've got NATIVE_FIRM loading issue but after renaming 0004013820000002.bin to 0004013820000002orig.bin, it's loaded properly. Thank to @likearls
Why will you use 4.x dg mset on a N3DS? Isnt the system settings 4x app for o3ds only and you just edited it to work on n3ds?
you may not have a proper 0004013820000002.bin, can you send me it's MD5 signature ?
ok, we have the same MD5, i was using an old compiled version of RxTools, so it could generate the nativefirm for N3DS, but it seems that the latest version is unable to do so (create NATIVE_FIRM.bin from 0004013820000002.bin), i'll have a look at the code, give me a minute
Edit : @Asia81 Ok, seems that in the latest version, the 0004013820000002.bin needs to be named "0004013820000002orig.bin" instead to build the NATIVE_FIRM.bin
i'll have to track when that was changed, but as stated above, all we need to do to fix that issue is to rename 0004013820000002.bin to 0004013820000002orig.bin in /rxtools/data
Edit 2 : seems that change was introduced 4 days ago by @soarqin fixing the extended memory games, can someone confirm if you need to rename firmware.bin in O3DS to firmwareorig.bin for the initial config in the latest nightlies ?

This is probably a pretty arcane issue but I'm on 9.2.0-10E now (I updated via cart) and the dukes launcher no longer works to launch code.bin (just crashes to home menu) (using the latest nightly) , I presume this is because 9.2.0 is usually 20E but I'm on 10 since I updated via cart. My next step was to update the browser via CIA (and then drop MSET to 6.X) but obviously I can't do that since I can't launch rxtools. I do have a Gateway card which I can launch via go.gateway-3ds.com but as far as I can tell, there's no way to use that to launch FBI on Sysnand (I have it installed on sysNAND but can't launch it currently). Any ideas how I can get rxtools going again in order to update my browser and downgrade MSET ?
You should wait for confirmation from more knowledgeable members, but to the best of my knowledge, you're fucked (sorry).
You need to update to 4.x, then update your browser, before finally updating to 9.2
I'm pretty sure that by updating to 9.2 without updating the browser to an exploitable version, you've made your 3DS unhackable.
-10E should be exploitable , its the 4.X browser (and I can launch gateway via it). just seems like the exploit chain for rxtools is missing.
Edit - Yup. I rolled back to 2.6 and it's exploit chain works , so I can update the browser and then swap back.
