So, I found one of these floating on ebay last week for less than 10 bucks. (6-something and like 3 bucks shipped) Got here yesterday, and gotta say, kinda neat. I have several GBA carts, and an EZ Flash 3 in 1, but I figured my second DS lite could use a GBA adapter also. I had managed to pick up an M3 DS Real at Goodwill of all places for a couple of dollars, so all and all I think I got kind of a cool setup for under $15 (8GB micro SD from Goodwill also, $1). As I write this, I am not entirely sure why I thought I needed to make a thread. None the less, Yay for GBA stuff on my ds.

Unfortunately this only works with the M3. Doesn't work with the ds browser either. I remember when slot 1 cards got really popular I scooped up every GBA and ds slot 2 I could find at cut rate prices

any ds flash cart that can run homebrew should work with it

you should really use it with an m3 real though as you gain a bunch of features like rts, rtc, cheats

Thank you for your response, Joe B-). Yeah, unfortunately, I only have the M3 simply:(. At least I could still get in some slot-2 GBA gaming, though, according to you B-)

If you're using an AceKard 2i you don't need the 'MX' build, the regular 'b0' build will work fine.
I guess was just the regular 0.58b0 build I rarely have the time to mess around with my DS and flashcarts anymore , I thought I had the 0.58b0mx build on there but may be I mixing this card up with another one I have.
But the it does appear that the RTC function works properly using Exploader, the last few days I have been playing pokemon emerald and my berries have been growing so it seems that the RTC function is properly working, although like everyone-else who bought one of these expansion packs off ebay I had to replace the old ML1220 which had been drained flat with a new one to make the SRAM save and RTC work correctly.

Yeah the GEP's a decent slot-2 card if you don't mind doing your GBA gaming on a DS, and GBA ExpLoader can patch most games on the fly negating the need for Sram patching. The RTC is a welcome addition too on what is a pretty cheap card. I mentioned about the 'MX' build as I would only use if necessary (ie. if you're using the GEP with an M3 slot-1 card). The 'MX' build had a couple of quirks, for instance if you tried to switch to 'ram expansion' mode in GBA ExpLoader, it would cause the DS to lock up if certain slot-1 cards were being used (eg. the DSTwo). This didn't happen in the 'b0' build.
