I figured to install rxtools, booted rxmode on sysnand, applied rxinstaller.bin, but dsprofile exploit is not working, it just gives me error and the 3ds reboots. Not lucky, next time

Are the dumping options on rxtools working again on the latest nightly (NAND Dumping , swapping H&S back / injecting FBI into H&S, xorpad dumping, etc) ?,
If I updated from 4.2 to 9.2 using carts, what would I need to install in addition to be the same as a 9.2 online update ?

Maybe restore your original NAND.bin and use sysupdater in devmode to update 3ds. all the features work perfect for me in rxtools beta 8 and such, is your 4.2 gateway downgraded?
The current script does not re-clone the repo everytime, but instead, it pulls from origin master and checks the SHA1. If that commit has already been built, it stops.
It's more or less what a JSON-parsing script would do...
Hey pasta team is the latest nightly worthy of the title "rxtools 3.0 stable"? all the features for o3ds now work like agb_firm twl and extended memory and normal 3ds applications but new 3ds still WIP
As i've said before, here is what we need at the very least for 3.0 RC to happen :
-Extended games working (achieved)
-Initial configuration working on N3DS
-AGB firm and twl firm patches on n3ds
-Stabler entrypoints (achieved)
-DevMode in N3DS¨
We will pretty much exclusively focus of the aforementioned and bug fixes until 3.0 RC is released
yes i read this but i was talking about o3ds and disregarding n3ds features, well nice work on rxtools, im checking the github page every day, new commits today

PS : When I change language (In my case to french), I noticed that in the settings menu "Autoboot in sysnand" disappear sometimes. The fact is that is here, but it's invisible.
PPS : for a reason that I don't know, FBI and devmenu is not working anymore on sysnand, even if I'm on rxmode. Injecting FBI is not working too.

to launch it offline with my android phone. Everything works with older version of rxtools but with the new versions of rxtools the file rxtools.dat have been renamed to code.bin in /rxTools/sys/ folder and this launching method does not work anymore

Bro, when talking about downgrading, there is no problem with Gateway. They have a built-in method for downgrading MSET, and they STARTED the whole firmware downgrade thing on the O3DS. And, I'm not sure how good that thread is anymore. Last I heard, pakrett's Mega account was banned.
And just a heads up, it is still a problem because the Native Firm of the console won't get overwritten, causing a brick.
You are referring to upgrading using Gateway, NOT downgrading. There is zero chance of bricking using Gateway's menu to downgrade because there hasn't been any firm launch done yet. I was just splitting hairs anyway (since the question was about downgrading, while not specifying Firmware or just MSET. But for EITHER of those things, Gateway isn't a problem anyway.), but it went right over your head.
Edit : just in case I really need to spell things out, I'm referring to downgrading an O3DS to 4.x with the GW menu.
I'm not talking about downgrading to 4.x using Gateway's menu, because that procedure is pretty much irrelevant now.
I'm talking about upgrading/downgrading from inside Gateway mode, which is not possible because it allows overwriting all the files except the core of the system, breaking the process and bricking the console.
You need to use rxTools' devmode for that.
I meant downgrade to other fw versions. And there is a chance of bricking still. Small, but it's there.
