ALL 5 maps HAVE BEEN RESTORED!!
Coruscant 100%
Utapau 100%
Jabbas Palace 100%
Geonosis 100%
Rhen Var 100%

All maps work PERFECTLY on the PPSSPP emulator.Also i managed to get the SIDE SOUND WORKING ON ALL MAPS! INCLUDING the hero spawn sounds so ignore that part of the OP please.

Furthermore i decided to test these 5 restored maps + my edited menu + the new load screen pictures on my PsP Go and here are the results:

Load screens run perfectly
Menu runs perfectly meaning all my edits are there and looking awesome.
Coruscant all modes run amazingly
Utapau all modes run extraordinarily
Jabbas palace runs epicly
Geonosis i admit has texture problems on the real psp but diddnt on the ppsspp emulator BUT i fixed that bug.
Rhen Var doesnt work at ALL on my real psp but works perfectly on the psspp emulator so im currently working on sorting that out today but i really dont believe real psp users will be able to play on that map at all however if i leave it included in the mod then you can definately play that map on your PCs/Laptops and even powerful android devices.But ill try to sort it out.

So 4/5 maps work on the PSP(yes it includes sound too) and 5/5 work on ppsspp.

Ill update you guys very soon with good/bad news on Rhen Var

Rhen Var works too!!! all modes and bear in mind Rhen var DOESNT have any CTF modes like the other 4 maps do so you just have 4 CONQUEST matches for Rhen VAR however the first 2 are your standard RESTORED conquest modes and the other 2 conquest MODES are where ive modded in extra units and we are going to call these modes Survival Modes.You can tell if your playing a survival mode by the Reinforcement count! If you see ONE team has a higher one when the match begins then you need to now that this map will require true skills.But i play on elite mode 247 SO im a pro!

So now all 5 maps have been restored im actually moving onto the modding phase of this project.

I am going to Modify ALL remaining Default maps that weren't replaced(i only replaced 5 of the default maps with the 5 restored maps simple!)

There are 6 default maps(Not including the individual MODES for each of the 6 maps) excluding SPACE maps since those will be done later since theyre not my specialty.

ive actually already done Endor today too.

I am happy to announce that it shouldnt take my long to get all default maps done in terms of modifying.After i have done them ill start on Restoring and modifying space Maps OR i will add and swap vehicles for ALL ground maps.

There is something i need to also say now.

To get Rhen var to work on the PSP i had to remove the Genonosis loadscreen which means OUT OF all 5 restored MAPS only

will have loadscreens But Geonosis wont and NOR will Rhen var as they cause texture problems PLUS rhen var doesnt even have a LVL loadscreen so unless someone can create a rhen var loadscreen then im afraid it will stay as the default maps picture.

Also i believe i have found out HOW Brodous got the AI to increase in his Mod for SWBF2.

I found a file which isnt part of the swbf2 offical standard game.
its called SIDEREP.LVL and i really need to open it up or find out WHAT it contains since MOST likely the scripts to increase AI are there and BEFORE you ask NO you cannot use the PC mod tools to increase AI unfortunately.

If anyone wants this file please let me now and ill upload it ASAP.
Furthermore guys PLEASE CHECK THE PROGRESS SECTION OF THE OP AS IVE updated it with stuff i haven't mentioned here at all! XD

Also its nearly the ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY of this MODS thread HERE!

It seems kinda bad that i can't play mygeeto (my favourite map) if i want to play coruscant...

And coruscant has replaced Dagobah.

BTW i have encountered a problem, when swapping the shell.lvl files , ppsspp can run the game from the map (without having to mount it into an iso) but when i do mount it into an iso to use it with the real handheld , it doesn't work anymore on the handheld nor on the ppsspp... What could be the problem?

On top of eversthing you guys do know, when placing this little shell.lvl into the games' files it gives you access to more maps, and even training and stuff?
Wouldn't it be more useful, if you did something with this option? A.k.a. if you would just use this shell, plus the mission.lvl, but instead of replacing the maps, you would replace them here with this shell inside, and by replace i mean replace the unplayable with the playable things?
(nooby question, but it seems interesting to me..)

And last but not least, Fury,i had read the op, but still i would be happy if you guys would make the "beta" files without the "mods" public, it would be interesting to see the removed maps on the handheld itself :)

Ahh good qustions but the ps2 shell.lvl doesnt work for us.idk how Dylan did it!

Nope we arent going to do a PUBLIC beta as there will be no need.We will be testing though but that will be between ourselves.

Dont worry its the 31st tomorrow and it will mark 1year since this thread and mod were thought off.

So i hope you bear that in mind.

Im really looking forward to when y'all finish the mod :D but i hope that if you ever learn how to increase the number of AI, it won't make the game lag too much.

A very Special Update:

I know it isnt exactly the 31st yet but don't want to waste time and do it tomorrow so instead im doing it right now!

Well guys as the sub-heading may imply today is a VERY Important day as TODAY marks EXACTLY ONE WHOLE YEAR since i created this thread for gauging interest on this Modification.

Sure we had our UPs and Downs whilst we tried to create this Mod but thanks to Dylan Rocket i was able to get the tools working on my Laptop and Now i am happy to Present you with some new updates aswell as TREAT yall to an INSIGHT as to what I have been UPTO for the past week since i reinstated this project.

Current PROGRESS

Loadscreens (IMG&TEXT) are 100%.
Main menu and other Menus are 100%.
5/5 Maps have been Restored and a few have been modded.

Side and Hero sound has been added to ALL maps BUT the music doesn't work on ANY maps as a result.
3 out of 6 Default Maps have been Modded as of today.
I have also personally TESTED all THAT ^^ on my PSP GO and thus i will leave you with 42 images of my thus far completed work
