Let's not turn this into a bunch of requests to join our team. The categories of people who can join are: those that can work on Wii U exploits and those that are skilled enough with game mods. We need to actually know the people well enough to verify that these things are true. All in all, it's unlikely that more people will be added, especially not through this haphazard application process.

It seems as if a team needs to be developed that would be creating homebrew and porting homebrew games. That's a niche that (seemingly desperately) needs to be filled. If there is already a team out there doing this I apologize but as far as I know there is not.

I wouldn't say a team necessarily needs to develop based around that, but a community certainly does. That's why I intend to develop an ELF loader and tutorials, though I'm still maintaining some focus on IOSU.

Ok because I'm really hoping if a new modchip or a way to play backups is available let's say maybe next year (unlikely) I could downgrade to the fw needed

Oh, haven't been there for so long... What's the status with homebrew and shit? LOL
I wish the current status was in the op. I haven't had the time to watch progress/read new posts, ect. So I have no clue where we are now.

Last thing I remember is userland browser exploit being released, but that still wasn't so important anyways, since most homebrew constructed there is just the same old repetitive old school games that are present in every homebrew ever.

The browser exploit is a key thing regarding everything else until bugs are found in videogames' code, so yes, it is very important!
It also is the foundation of everything else regarding homebrew programs, ports of emulators etc!
5.4.0 has a browser exploit that works, but is not public because of instability!
A kernel (and iirc also IOSU) exploit is working but also still buggy and has yet to be released!
If anything goes public or someone who knows C/C++ wants to dig into making userland code it can be found here.

We have two kernel exploits: a nice, stable one and an annoying buggy one (but slightly better now). We'd probably save the better one for later, and as for the annoying one, I'm waiting for a the game modding and homebrew scenes to grow. For game modding, I have a lot of people already doing it, and I'm a bit wary of giving out the kernel exploit more. Homebrew is something I need to work on to help grow.

I accidentally updated to 5.4.0 a while ago. Just waiting for the browser exploit to start playing around with this stuff.

Someone mentioned there is an instable browser exploit for 5.4.0? Mind private messaging me it anyone? Ill keep it private - im layed off at the moment and could try and fix it up.

I know it's important. I am not clueless when it comes to homebrew. I simply meant that it is useless to me, and the general public, as nothing special will come directly from userland to be used in userland. No emulators or special HB games.
