I have 2 3DSs already (3DS and 3DS XL) but thinking of getting a New 3DS XL.

My 3DS is currently on 9.2.

IF I do a NAND backup and emunand of 9.2 and hopefully get a 9.2 New3DS can I transfer the emunand to the new3DS and keep the old 3DS with everything its got or will it still be deleted and wiped no matter which nand I use? sysnand or emunand?

I dont want another account to look after, I just want one but nintendo dont like you to have more than 1 device per account. I want to keep the 3DS and have a new3DS on the same account so I dont want to wipe the sysnand of the 3DS.

And if it does wipe the sysnand, cant we just restore the NAND backup and it goes back to where it was so I can have 2 devices on the same account?

I'm not wanting to update this 3DS past 9.2 so if it never gets on the shop again thats fine with me but I dont want to loose the games its already got.

Yes you can restore your NAND backup, but your NNID can't be linked to both. I forget what issues this might bring up, but I know you can restore your sysNAND after the transfer. Honestly though, you'll end up having two different save points for each game on the separate units, so unless you have everything unlocked now or have games that the saves don't really matter like Sonic 3D it would be moot to progress on both together.

I'm not worried about the savegames, its the actual game working that I want.
If the 3DS that is kept with wifi off and its on 9.2 can still work like it does now then I'll get a N3DSXL and transfer from emunand as long as this 3DS doesn't loose access to anything its already got installed.

Does the NNID get deleted from the original 3DS in the transfer? Is that in the sysnand or somewhere else?

Im not wanting to pay twice for games I've already paid for thats why i dont want to loose anything.
If it cant get on the eshop again that'll be fine but I want everything to keep on working.

Any tutorials on this or will I have to wing it?

I have a similar problem:
I have a O3DS FW is 4.2.0-9E. I'm using a Gateway with it on Emunand 9.9.0-26E.
It's a Ambassador console, so I had the 10 GBA and 10 NES games also 2 games I bought from Eshop and some free games that you can't download for free anymore on it. I can't download them to realNAND because I don't want to update it and I deleted them a while ago.
I can and did download them to emuNAND and they work fine.
I had no NNID on it, because at the beginning of 3DS there were no NNID. So I created a new one.

I have a New3DS Xl on 9.9 OFW without any customizations.
The Emunand from O3DS has the legit games and 2 or 3 *.cia Files, blargsnes and gameyob. It also has a NNID that I use on N3DS and WiiU and I want to keep this one.

The questions:
Can I use the system transfer to send the games to my New3DS and download them on my NNID?
I don't want the NNID from the O3DS.
Do I have to delete the *.cia Files from the O3DS Emunand?

Can I backup the emunand, send the legit games to New3Ds and restore the Emunand, while still be able to use (other) games for Onlineplay with the old NNID?

Great, thanks for that.

oh, 1 last thing, if both consoles are on 9.2 can I transfer or do they have to be the latest firmware 9.9?

Yes, via NTR (sysNAND) or MultiPatcher (emuNAND). Here's a guide for using NTR, and a link to the MultiPatcher method towards the bottom:
http://gbatemp.net/threads/guide-sy...ds-and-or-n3ds-via-ntr-firmware-spoof.393161/

Can I backup the emunand, send the legit games to New3Ds and restore the Emunand, while still be able to use (other) games for Onlineplay with the old NNID?

Only one NNID per console is allowed. If you have purchased content on two different NNID's, you can't have them both on the same console. You could try to call Nintendo to transfer your Ambassador status to your new NNID, but that's up to them if they will do it or not.

1) Build Source emuNAND (Backup all Source SD files first!)
2) Make Source SD image
3) Copy all Source SD files to Target SD
4) Do ST from Source emuNAND to Target SysNAND
5) Restore Source SD image

For more extended usages:
1) Install Devmenu and SaveDataFiler on restored Source SD
2) Copy Target SD .sav to Source SD and export it with SDF - this makes your e-shop saves exportable.
3) Import SDF save to Source SD and copy the imported .sav to Target SD - this makes your e-shop saves injectable.
