I like to modify the F90 character Def Stallion music file if you can extract for me, I will upload for you...
You are free to modify the music the way you like.
But I disagreed in putting your modified version back into the original game.

This game already have the 'Custom BGM' feature.
Just put your custom music file in the (ROOT or 'memstick' Folder)\Music\OVERWORLD\.
Then open the game, to the custom BGM menu.
Then assign that modified music to a pilot of your choice.

Enjoy and Blessings.

The BGM from the game are great, but the problem is the looping from the extracted files, probably someone will take the time to loop them right and upload them to http://downloads.khinsider.com
Ahh yeah.
@danikk, did you notice about this problem yet?
That every BGM you extracted from the game, when assigned to someone via the game's custom BGM menu,
it have LOOP problem sounding when being played in-game.
I myself have to re-edit them again via Sony Vegas to be able to let them LOOP smoothly in-game.

Yes, I know, its because the looping feature is built into the original file format, the format has a point set to it to jump to at the end of the track, when converted to MP3, this point is lost and the music repeats from the beginning breaking the loop.

I see. Thanks a lot for the explanation.
So it's up to how will we use the files. Every extracted BGM files must first be edited via any sound editor tool to make them play smoothly in-game.

Erm... probably best to deal with the music after the patch for those of you who are interested. I don't want to jeopardize the translation project with copyright issues or something of that sort. Plus, it will just make the patch bigger :X.

Edit: LookaMossi just joined as the editor. Hopefully he'll stay long in the team. :)

I see a grammar mistake in the opening post, where arnold neuman is assigned as diver, shouldn't it be helmsman.

So it isn't work with the songs in 3min?

Keep those suggestions coming. We're kinda keeping an open mind on those parameters since they are just provisional at the moment and fortunately editable anytime. There is one catch though, text limit.

On updates... I need to avoid updating that op post so frequently.
It's becoming an addiction :X and it's not a diary for me to abuse.
Plus, I'm too disorganized to write a diary.

2 team members added within these 2 weeks :
Gilliel who did us great favor in the image editing department
and FINALLY, another editor, he's LookaMossi.

Image translation, or rather image edition, is progressing pretty well, I must say. Thanks to Danikk for making that possible and Gilliel for her artistic touch. Pretty sure most, if not all of the images are already found.

2nd past translation... I have covered intro till D stages and this focus mainly on storyline re-translation based on let's play video. Clean is tidying up my lines as usual.

About the dying quotes in the other file we mentioned recently...
I've translated ~40% of it and LookaMossi is helping with the edition effort.
Unfortunately, we're still unsure what is preventing Mossi from running Pique's script tool.

Lastly, as usual, the ID19199 thingy is being work on by most of the team. This file is not something I want to mess with and I'm lucky enough the have the jp text extracted for me to translate them.

Damn... I went overboard again.
That's all.

I intend to put myself on a long holiday from translating work after this one and since I am given a real life serious project to work on just 2 weeks ago, I don't think I am up for anything else for a while.
Even now, I'm thinking of rushing the completion of the translation of this project as far as my sanity allows me to.

The others might be interested but who knows...
