Does anyone have a EU DSi with a legit copy of Sudokuhxax?

If so, do you think you could decrypt it with Zoogies instructions and share it somewhere other than here? (Against the forum rules) Since DSi Homebrew is sorta growing, it would be great if you could contribute :)

Thanks!

Hmm.

Could someone from Europe with the old hackable sudoku on DSi dump their sudokuhax save for us? (especially for Keizel)

It's easy, just drag and drop the dsware export .bin file on this attachment.
We'll also need someone to locate and ... [evil hidden] ... the hackable EU sudoku version :P
but that's the work for another forum.

@Keizel this is one of the reasons you were advised to overwrite a system app!

I need help; I need a legit copy of game DSiWare, I downloaded in my 3DS but it was patched... And the public.sav for the Hax. All must be EUR

You cannot ask for ROMs here, this counts as a ROM. I'm sure there's a few sites that have been hinted at that you can go to though.

Ok, if we can't get a EU sudokuhaxx save, can we at least get confirmation that US games will run if injected into a legit EU game on a EU 3ds? On 9.x.
Pweese :P

i have my legit sudoku euro game but not the hax.
That's all you need. (if on dsi)

download this exe and drag and drop the 4B344456.bin file from SDMC:\private\ds\title\4B344456.bin (you need to export sudoku o/c)
http://bootmii.org/dsiexploits/down...3dd4b80f4f7eafb5ee&file=dsiwarehaxinj_v11.zip

after the save is injected in your 4B344456.bin file, drag and drop it on this exe to extract the save and your done!

can do that, but it is the patched sudoku, not the first unpatched eshop one. is it ok?
Eh.. forget about that. It won't hurt at all to try it though. You'll just delete the bin in the end anyway.

nevermind, this is what's going to happen:
"Injection/resign failed. You used an unsupported title which has no exploits, please see the exploitslist link from the README."

You need to downgrade titles on the DSi through TWLTool in order to install Sudokuhax, or any other DSiWareHax. The 3DS does the same checks, so Sudokuhax needs to be run from either a rebuilt TWL partition, through DS-Internet replacement, or injected into an installed DSiWare title. Both require 3DS CFW. There's no other way at this time.

Edit: And also, there's no difference between the "EU" and "US" releases for SUDOKU. The DSiWare title and TMD are the same. Very few DSiWare titles actually have different versions for different regions, and SUDOKU isn't one of them.

If I try install Sudoku US NOT-Patched in my original Sudoku EUR PATCHED, Sudoku will not look on HomeMenu. For this reason, is necesary Sudoku EUR NOT-Patched.

Just use the EUR title.tmd file, and it should show up. Aka, just leave the old TMD file and replace the 00000001.app with the decrypted "US" old SUDOKU.

You can run a title from DS Internet in vanilla sysNAND :^)

Not working. The Sudoku not appear on HomeMenu.
Disregard what I've said about that title, that only works on the DSi I guess. You're trying to do this on the 3DS. I would've assumed it would work through a modified TWLN partition, but I guess it needs more than that. Not something I can test though unfortunately, so good luck.

Alright, so I might have a solution. If you send me your valid EUR cetk file, I could decrypt what I think is a compatible EUR version. You'd need to intercept the cetk file being downloaded to a real EUR DSi using a port-sniffer, but it's technically possible I figure. Anyway, just a thought, no idea if you can actually get it that way. Alternatively, it might be possible to intercept the latest version downloading and inject the older one instead on a DSi. That would provide a decrypted version, if it's possible. Anyway, there's a few last-ditch options. Hopefully someone will come forward instead though.

I have only 3DS.

But... I maybe get a DSi by a friend... In this case, If I buy the EUR title patched, you could make these?

If you can get the cetk file, I'm pretty sure I can, yeah. I just can't say 100% for sure, as before they're decrypted, I don't know what version the old files are. They'd still need to be tested for Sudohax compatibility too. Anyway, that's the deal.

And also, there's no difference between the "EU" and "US" releases for SUDOKU. The DSiWare title and TMD are the same. Very few DSiWare titles actually have different versions for different regions, and SUDOKU isn't one of them.
But... no! Most dsiware titles (including sudoku) have a unique USA-only version, and another version shared for EUR+AUS.That was wrong on dsibrew.org (I've fixed the sudoku entries on the dsibrew title page and nus downloader database today). The 3DS-scene people seem to be also using separate .sav files for each region (don't know if they have published the european .sav file anywhere, or if it's really required to use a different .sav in europe).

Apart from (possibly) needing a european .sav file, one will also need the old version of the european executable. It can be downloaded as version 0 (via nus downloader, or via raw web browser), but it's encrypted... and nus downloader seems to rely on having a "cetk" ticket for decryption.
Alternately one could try using the ".tik" ticket dumped from eMMC, but that file is still encrypted (even after decrypting the eMMC partitions), and nus downloader doesn't seem to support that (if it did, then it would need to know your console id for decrypting the .tik file).
I haven't tried, but theoretically one could manually decrypt the .tik, then rename it to cetk, and hope that nus downloader will accept it (though among others it might complain about the smaller filesize).

Got the old european sudoku executable downloaded, it works (with some obstacles).

First, buy the current sudoku version in dsi shop, dump & decrypt your eMMC, and extract the ticket (file "4b344456.tik") from it. Decrypt the ticket file, you will need (to make) some special utility for that. Then rename the decrypted ticket to "cetk" (without any filename extension).

Next, try downloading the old sudoku eur/aus version v0 via nus downloader, this will create a "title\000300044b344456\0" folder, copy your "cetk" file into that folder. Now comes the nag-feature: nus downloader will see your cetk file and try to delete it and then try to download a not-existing public cetk file from nintendo. Simple workaround is to set the read-only attribute for the cetk file, then retry downloading the game (with the read-only attr, nus downloader will think that it has deleted your cetk & downloaded its own cetk, and being fooled that much, it'll agree to decrypt the 00000000 file).
