idk, I think Smea is like Scott Cawthon. He releases when he feels like it's ready which could be earlier or later.
Hes definitely not good at giving an eta. There is a huge difference between a few hours and a week. I don't think he really knows how long it will take him to finish something. Or he's bad at managing time.

People have a life, he's probably occupied with something else, or even, the hack might not behave like intended, so Smea could need to jump some hoops before reaching a successful hack.

Also, it's still there, I just updated and got it, so Nintendo could wait a little more before pulling the game (if they'll ever pull the game from eShop at all).

We could speculate all day. I'm simply saying his eta's are never on point. I don't care why, I have no personal interest in his life or what he does.

My guess is that if they want to find the hole themselves, they'll pull the game when they find it. More likely, they're not going to dump resources into finding an exploit that may or may not exist. They'll wait for the exploit to be released to see if it's legit, then pull the game once the exploit is verified. If they went pulling games down every time someone said they'd found an exploit with a certain game, it'd be madness.

The end of week ain't a long wait, but adding the "hoping" in there makes me a little sad, lol. Sounds like a major issue has reared its head.

I'm sure someone has asked by now, but I can't find the answer. Does anyone know if this will allow for Pasta to run or will it be restricted like in Ninjhax 2.0? I already have the original Ninjhax working and all, and Pasta loads just fine. I also downloaded this game just in case it does allow for Pasta to be loaded.

Because ideally, if a downloaded free title like this can run Pasta, I can then always keep my DS Flashcart always in my 3DS, so that I constantly have access to my full game collection without ever having to swap in and out Cubic Ninja with my DS flashcard (DSTwo if you're curious).

If you have cfw, don't bother with this. It blocks piracy.

That's a little disappointing. I'm sure Smea could keep it open to cfws like the original Ninjhax was, but as evidenced by him blocking that access with Ninjhax 2.0 and the continuation of so here, he doesn't want to promote piracy. And I get that, but it still a little disappointing that I can't yet access my cfw on my New 3DS XL unless I have a certain game in my handheld. I mean this is really a very minor complaint, because all it comes down to is the minor annoyance that arises of having to carry around one extra cartridge with my 3DS if I also want to play any of my DS titles.

Just curious, did Smea intentionally block ARM9 access from Ninjhax 2.0, or was a vulnerability only found on ARM11? I have a feeling Ninjhax 2.0 will get CFW support sometime. People said we won't get 9.2/below fully hacked, it happened. It might happen with IronHax/Ninjhax 2

Nothing's blocked, he just didn't do anything to exploit it. Arm9 isn't needed for homebrew.

Nintendo patched their firmware to block the original ninjhax afaik. I don't think Smea got around that and is now making 2.0 ninjhax less capable, Nintendo did that, he has a way to keep some homebrew running but it's not as capable. That's my understanding, anyway. Very limited understanding since I don't follow it closely and do not look at the actual exploits nor do I know how they really work.
