The files should be placed in the order in which it is written in the other quote.

I'm sorry for making you confused ideas. I meant that the .3dsx file must have the name of the folder (example: if the folder name is "CHMM" , the file name should be "CHMM.3dsx"). "Themes" folder should instead be in the path SD:/ (If you use the version 1.4 of CHMM. Otherwise, the path is right). In practice, in the root.

However, you don't need the .3ds and .cia files on Ninjhax.

Yesterday I made my second theme to see if I could get a little better. In this one I tried out screen scrolling on top screen and sounds. For some reason sound didn't work well. When I added more sounds the open lid one stoped working And thats one is my favorite. So I decided to just leave the open lid sound cause I really liked that one. If someone can give me tips on how to get all the sounds working I'll really apreciate it.

This one is based on Madworld! one of the most fun and underated games on the Nintendo Wii imo. Hope everyone likes it.

Is there a limit to the length of song / sound you can use for the bgm.bcstm? Or am I just doing something wrong? xD
I have SFX & BGM checked in settings.

I'm trying to use this atm: http://picosong.com/mdMu/

Once converted to .bcstm, i've tried a file size of 2,186kb & 3,060kb but neither work at all.

@usernametaken are you getting the error during install when it gets to the bgm file? Are you using CHMM or extdatatool to install themes? If the bgm.bcstm file is less than about 3.2MB (can't remember the exact cutoff amount) then it could be your problem is you need to apply a basic color theme and then try the install.

Got it to work using (BRSTM-BCSTM Conversion Tool 1.1.1-1 - Windows 32 bit) which compiled a 3,137kb bcstm.

I'm using Reisyukakus cia compiler for the most part. I don't believe I tried using CHHM for this particular theme i'm messing with atm.

Yay, my first theme. I thought it would be cool if I did a Miiverse based theme, where it looked like messages/drawings on the top screen. It isn't that good of a theme. It lacks BGM and custom CWAVS. But here it is:

Is there a trick to getting the scrolling backgrounds working without the big white chunk at the end?

Doesn't matter what i do i still get that white section.

I never had a problem with scrolling backgrounds. I just made an image that was 1024 × 256 and used 1008px of the width for the image (starting from the left) leaving the last 16px transparent.

Unfortunately, there's no way to edit the arrow using the current tools. I recommend hunting around for themes that already have the color you're looking for.
