Well on my leaf green rom i have used pokemon creator, to make a good team to start of with. Though normally i would just go file > export > battery file, and just write that to my G6 using the Udisk manager. Though this dosen't seem to be working, no matter what i try i get 'Save file has been deleted...'.

Does anyone have a better method to get saves from visual boy advanced to g6?

Ps. I am using the latest loader, firmware and vba.

Thanks i will try that and reman my .SAV to .0.

Edit: Still didn't work. Renamed to .0

Anyone have any other ideas?

The battery loads fine if i import > battery on vba. But when i write it, it just says save has been deleted.. after loading the rom.

Still dosen't work.

Seriously don't get this loads on vba but the moment i put it on my G6 it dosen't.

Anymore tips?
i will try making a .sps and converting that.

EDIT: Managed to get it working. I just deleted all of the save data while vba was running my game. Saved on it. It created a .sav, wrote that and it worked. Don't get why exporting a battery file wasn't working but o well.

yay

I will host the files for you if you want. Basically you choose the pokemon, level, trait, moves, ev's, iv's and anything else. Then it gives you the code for that pokemon. So you just import them into vba and it will be in the box you set it to appear in.

For your second question try going
file > export > battery file
and writing that.
If that dosen't work put your vba, rom and original save in the same folder, load the rom and the save, while this is loaded delete the save, and then save on the game like normal. That will make a new .sav and just write that. It should work, it did for me.

It may be the rom your using? I have a pokemon Leaf green save that works in both in my G6 and VBA.....I simply rename the .0 to .sav and vice versa

*edit
I only use the non intro non save patched version of the rom....in case that matters

* double edit....shit like above is why Pokemon Diamond is gonna SUUUUCK.....l

@The Real Jdbye, I could see AMD trying to pull off the CPU GPU tandem thing, would be a way to maybe close the gap a bit with Nvidia. Plus it would kinda put Nvidia at a future disadvantage since Nvidia can't make X86/64 CPUs? Intel and AMD licensing issues... I wonder how much that has held back innovation.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
i don't think nvidia wants to get in the x64 cpu market anyways

you've seen how much intel is struggling getting into the gpu market

@Psionic Roshambo AI assisted game creation is kinda already here, there was recently that AI that can turn any 2D image into a fully modeled 3D object, it's not perfect, but it's a starting point, beats starting from zero

before that there was one to generate a fully modeled scene from a 2D image

but most recently, there was one that actually generates a working unity scene with terrain and textures already set up that you can import right into unity, that's a huge time saver right there
