Ive downloaded the patch but i need the updated software version 2.56. At the moment i have 2.55. I dont know EXACTLY what im talking about but if someone could help me get this new software so i can patch DKR would be great. Thanks.

EDIT: ok ive got version 2.56 now but i need to know 2 things. Where do i put the patch that you have to dowbload?? and why does Diddy kong racing file stay as a 0KB file ?

Please help.
thanks

OK listen:
Go to the Supercard site and download THE LATEST FIRMWARE AND PATCHER(Pc software) , I believe is 2.58.
After you update your files(there is an extensive guide on the official site), download the Supercard ROM DAT Update(which can be found at the beginning of this tread) and unzip it into your Supercard folder on your PC(mines looks like C:\Program Files\SC).
You will be asked to overwrite a file called rominfo.dat. Click OK.
Now go and patch DKR with the Supercard software as usual, but remember to uncheck the option "Enable restart" otherwise it's not gonna work.
You should be all set to race.

Ok thanks heaps mate. For the most part it all worked. I got the file to become 32 000 KB the only problem is that when it loads it becomes a white screen. Any tips anyone ??.

you probably forgot to update your firmware, it should be 1.7,

if you don't know how to....there should be a guide at the supercard website, if not search through the forums

When you say update my firmware to 1.7 do you mean on my PC or on my DS. When i do it on my DS the update says ''It is not Enging Version''. It then tells me to turn off my DS and then nothing works. Any other help ?.

Cheers

If most of us got it to work very easily, don't you think that might be something wrong with your SC or your SD card or maybe your backup is faulty ?
If you have the latest drivers and the .dat file and a good rom and you use the right settings and still doen't work then you have a problem of a different nature.
