I have sold over 20 R4DS and I have yet to have a complain or return from my buyers. I hope they continue to their great support for the R4DS. As of right now, the R4DS is the best slot 1 solution.

I'm still struggling with wifi on the R4. It seems everybody can use wifi with their nds roms except me.

I've had problems... :'(
When I got my R4 it qorked great ... until I turned it off and on again. It kept coming up with an error about not being able to find a DS_MENU file.

After trying fat and fat32, different memory cards, different card readers and roms I concluded that the R4 itself was at fault.
After emailing r4ds, they advised me to send it back to the shop, who would replace it under the 3 month warranty

I've just got my replacement which works perfectly, and comes with a new cardreader and different case (must be a revised version I think)

It's all turned out well in the end though, ... even with my problem, I'd still recommended it to others

No problems whatsoever, solid card.

Haven't really used the bundled microsd writer that came with the card due to a few reported problems.

one problem I have started to notice is the r4ds's spring loading microsd slot isnt as nice as it used to be. its takes like a good 4 - 5 times before it sticks.

Hi!

I have received my micro sd today! After one month, now i can test my R4.

I have bought a Kingmax 2GB/x66 (high speed and made in taiwan). I have formated it in FAT32 and i have tested it and it works very well. I have tested Elite Beat Agents (works perfectly), Mario Kart, Diddy Kong Racing and it's excellent!

About Mario Kart, the wifi connection works perfectly even if i play with the hidden tracks! It's so funny! Now i can play Waluigi Pinball and Tic Toc online! So good!

This is for the good news but for the bad ones, i noticed, like a lot of people, that Tony Hawk DownHill as a variable rate (sometimes it's really speed but the most part of the time it's slow). And Castlevania PoR doesn't work at all. But i have trimmed the rom and maybe it was wrong... I will try later with the european rom.

So, in conclusion, the Kingmax seems to be a good card. For now it's the case, and i'll confirm it or not in the future.

Have fun with your R4 and DS!

I've handled almost 150 R4's and have so far had 1 faulty.

Funny thing is, this one worked perfect at first, then slowly started losing the will to work.

I've tried a dozen diff things to get it to work, but it just sticks on 'loading...' constantly now.

Not a bad faulty percentage though, better than ipods
