Does it matter if i download a USA when when i am in EUR? And what is a contrast? Is it the same thing as a ROM or is it different? All help is much appreciated!

And CONTRAST, VENOM and ABSTRAKT are all release/scene groupnames. They mean nothing for the rom itself, they are all the same. It's just a way to show who made the rom and posted it online.

It does matter.
The game will work fine, but you will not be able to download updates or DLC for it. Which would be a problem in games with online since you will only be able to play offline without the update. Most online games have an update available.
