Thanks for your reply,

The save corrupt problem only appears with this game.
In the past, Batman Vengeance had the same problem and tueidj fixed it with my debug log.

If you can, try True Crime: New York City, to be sure that it's a problem with Devo or not.

As soon as I can make an account on GCForever (email verification is acting up) I'll be posting my logs of Pokémon XD and Super Monkey Ball up there to hopefully help debug this program. In the meantime, I edited the compatibility entry for XD PAL version (because I know it's not a problem with my disc, specficially, unlike Monkey Ball)

Can someone assisty me with Phantasy Star Online Mode? I got it working but for some reason every 30 minutes or so it disconnects me from the server.
I see some other wii players have this same problem as me then, hopefully its something tueidj can fix, I'd like to get back to playing psogc online. I wonder if the BBA emulation would require a server run from his end like the dialup modem emulation does? I think that's how it works anyway.

I think that the BBA emulation is LAN only - and no GCN games actually supported it for online play. So what you'd need for the BBA is to enable LAN multicasting on your router... somehow. I'm still trying to figure out how to do that in DD-WRT. Probably involves scripting, as the only buttons I saw for it were WAN-related.

As for the Modem Adapter for online play, yes. That apparently does involve some kind of web server hosted on a computer other than the one for the private server you connect to. Not necessarily on tueidj's end, but he's being all closed-source and keeping these things to himself, so it basically is.

The instructions for connecting to your own ppp emulator are in the modem setup post. There's nothing proprietary involved, you just need something like pppd or slirp - which tueidj fixed by publicly filing a bug upstream, so saying he's keeping it all to himself is a bit of an asshole thing to do when he made the effort to make it available to everyone.

I haven't had any problems staying online connected to Sylverant, it's probably just a case of shitserv being shit (they're completely down at the moment with no info why).

Not "asshole" - misinformed.
And behind on updates. I apologise.

As i guessed, this software sucks. I have a 1.02 Melee back up i made around 2010 that works flawlessly with every other tool available (Dolphin, Nintendont, Dios Mios etc). Tried it with this shit and my original, scratched Melee disc. It just spits it out. Hurray, i need a fully functional disc to play my backup, which makes this instantly useless. Way too good tuedji.

Must be pretty careless to somehow scratch a disc when you haven't been able to use it for the past three years due to a dead disc drive. What made you try it again if the other tools already work flawlessly?

Implying i have the same wii than 3 years ago, lol. And my Melee disc died a while ago too. And i wanted to see if this worked at all for me. I will continue using Nintendon't, a clearly better homebrew, and programmed by someone who is not a complete asshole.

@Felipe_9595 , i sense from your answer that you are upset about the fact Tueidj made his homebrew with piracy protection, it does work like intended though, and very good if i may add. I still can give arguments besides the antipiracy why this homebrew is very good.
That said, if you don't meet the requirements to use Devolution, you better move on and use Nintendont. But please do not complain about it unless it is a valid complaint.

Are you really telling me that sractching a disc that is 10-13 years old made for a 15 years old console (9 if we consider a wii) is not a valid complain?

^And even limiting the users even more.
if you want anti-piracy features in there, sure, be my guest, but getting the app to spit your disc out just because it cannot read it properly?
No thanks.

I had that happen to me twice and the disc only had minor scratches, I even bought one disc online to verify it and the app spit it out.
That was my turning point, I preferred to wait until Nintendont got more polished, and it paid off in a much better way.

The thing is though... what you guys are saying happened to you, is complete bullshit.
The app only spits out discs which don't have the same ID as the ISO. If there's a read error it gives 10 flashes and exits to HBC (the log will say "fatal error"). I've tested this with several of my own extra copies (who needs five copies of metroid prime...)
The only way that would happen with a legit disc would be if it was so damaged that the disc ID was unreadable, making it completely useless for any purpose. A "minor scratch" wouldn't cause that, and if you bought a disc in that condition you'd be stupid not to get a refund from the seller for selling damaged goods because it wouldn't be any good for any purpose.

I give this 1 month before someone makes a version without antipiracy lol
lol indeed. Three years later and you're still butthurt that you can't use it, even though there are apparently several other "flawless" loaders. So either you're just shitposting, or you want to use this app because it does something that the others don't...

Almost all of my Gamecube games are scratched pretty badly and the Wii I used to verify the discs has reading issues. The only game I couldn't get to work was Sonic Heroes and an actual Gamecube doesn't even recognize it as a game anymore, so I'm with megatokyo on calling this bullshit, unless your disc is a different version than the ISO, but I don't even know if that affects it

I've found basically no issues with Devolution aside from the Wii remote that I have everything saved on occasionally not wanting to connect, and that might not even have to do with Devolution

Is that on the WiiU? They are a PITA to sync wiimotes (and the wiiu pro) to, even on the WiiU home menu I have had to sit there retrying for over five minutes to get them to connect. A regular wii will connect first go every time.
