Hey guys, I recently bought my first 3DS flash card (Gateway!) and I followed some tutorials and have put all the files on my 3DS sd card, blue card sd and red card sd (game). But it gives me a black screen when I load gateway 3ds from the website, it keeps on saying on the website loading 3ds. Does it have some connection with the fact my sister updated the 3DS to acces the nintendo shop.. 9.8.0-25E is the system info.

Gateway only works up to firmware 9.2. So if your firmware is 9.8, it won't work with Gateway.
The only thing Gateway has is emunand with firmware 9.8 support. But the real system firmware still needs to be up to 9.2

Damd.. so what do I have to do now? :(

if you have a backup of the NAND from when the firmware was compatible with GW, you can use it to restore to how it was but you need a hardmod.

If you don't have a backup, you don't have many more options. You can either give up on GW and keep the console and try to use Sky3DS or you can try to replace the console instead, maybe trade it for one that has a compatible firmware.

I made a backup of my nand before it got updated

Did it asap when I first connected to the card

that's good. then like I said, you can restore it back to how it was. You just need to hardmod your console. You can try to follow a guide or ask someone to do it for you for a price. There's a couple of ppl here in the forum that can do it. And you can also find the guide in here if you prefer to try to do it yourself.

Is there no local phone repair shop or something like that over there?

It isn't hard at all you know.. just solder some cables... :)

There kinda is, But I dont know if the procedure is something you have to have experience for. :P

I don't know much about the procedure so I can't really help with that.

But I can however link you to the thread that talks about it (there might be more but this is the one I know):

https://gbatemp.net/threads/nand-flash-dump-3ds-xl.350668/

Thanks for the link.. TO bad its only hardware based.

Yeah, unfortunately it's the only way since your console has that firmware. The only software way is using GW launcher but you can't use it since that's the original problem. So only by hardmod (hardware).

Yeah, as far as I know. All the CFW that exist right now don't support that sysnand firmware I believe. Only sky3ds has all range support.

yeah just show hem the picture, im sure someone will do the job, even if the do a non permanent mod and just perform the downgrade, just make sure you keep tabs on your 3DS and make sure nobody updates it.....times wise for a quick downgrade without adding the port and stuff a person with soldering experience should be able to have a 3DS XL downgraded within 20 mins or so (that includes the time to flash the backup and remove the wires afterwards) the o3DS XL is by far the easiest/quickest to do the mod on

but preferably i would see if they are able to add the port, but they might not have any appropriate ports at hand to do that, so just see what they offer and see how much they ask
