Actually you could comment, all you needed to do was open up google + and sign in, it would have carried over to youtube.

Not going to happen, you're lucky we're even working on a softmod anything that costs money is never going to happen because there aren't enough people who have a Wii U that would buy one. Besides, it's not like you can install anything right now. Feel free to update, the plan is still to get stuff working on the latest version, however long that takes, or as close as we can get with emuNAND so people never have to update again. It'll come eventuallyI'll just wait for a modchip or some kind of hardware mod and stay updated. Splatoon is worth too much to my girlfriend to fuck with her Wii U's software.

At this point in time, just don't risk it. I know people want to play Splatoon etc., but we knew this was going to happen eventually.
5.3.2, they haven't had time to make new discs yet, probably will be on October that we might see a newer version. Is splatoon disk loaded with 5.3.2 or 5.4 ? Now I'm scared of installing it lol
You are not missing anything. I set it up a couple of days ago and that will be 15 minutes of my life I never get back. It was slow as molasses and I didn't even get the point of it.Thank god those numbskulls at Nintendo finally removed the pointless TVii icon.
Don't update if you care about the Wii U mode exploits.

here we go it's the 3ds all over again...
To be fair, not using the internet update screwed some people out of the 3DS 9.2 exploit since the web browser didn't come on cartsSince the future is unpredictable and comparisons with other systems are pointless, there really only is one thing you should do and that is NOT to update EVER until an exploit is actually released!
If the exploit requires a higher firmware than what you have installed, you can still use one of the many games to update to that version.
Just block the server IP addresses, enter the DNS manually, remove all internet connection settings, and voila, really not that hard.
and just miss out on online play all-together brilliant fucking advice!
it's a losing battle anyway when x is out you'll be forced to update.
If you do that without any eshop filtering, don't forget to disable "background download" in the download manager while you are playing. So if I put back my internet settings (I deleted them completely so my Wii U wouldn't auto update) while I'm playing the Wii U (and then delete them again right before I turn it off), will it update while I'm actually playing it?
