Where can I get that dude, is there available in this site

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Anyway I found the regionthree which can run without cubic ninja at 4.x, I think the regionfour does not work for me since it requires cubic ninja as well, so I am not sure this will work together with the pasta cfw ot not, have somebody tried it, please share our help me solve thissolution, thank you guys

Why are you trying to use Cubic Ninja? You have a 4.x 3DS, so you shouldn't need it.

See this thread: gbatemp.net/threads/release-pasta-cfw-without-cubic-ninja-mset-4-x-old3ds.389498/

Otherwise, if you were on 9.0-9.2, using regionThree would be easier, because all you would need to do is run it from the browser. You can't do that with 4.x, but that's okay because you have a fully exploitable version of system settings.

So you know dude, playing new game which is encrypted by 7.x it requires 9.x sysnand with pasta cfw,

Not yet dude, I need a pasta to run system update by downloading sysupdate, but it requires cubic ninja as well to install a pasta cfw,

Read carefully, you can update with the PBT-CFW too : https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-...om-4-1-8-1-to-9-2-0-20-with-pasta-cfw.389187/

PBT official thread : https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-pbt-cfw-import-cias-on-your-sysnand.383242/

Yes dude, that is what I am going to do, but at the fifth step it requires me to run pasta anyway, I don't have it yet, and my device still running on 4.x with palatine cfw, cubic ninja is needed anyway to install the pasta

Yes but "for me" regionthree works on 9.2 but not on 4.5 so If I was you I'll make a nand backup, update to 9.2, make a 2nd nand backup. Like that you can switch version easier by restoring the nand you want to test what you want.

Don't forget that you have to install sysupdater and all your stuff in your sysnand. If you want to use pasta all what you do with palantine is useless.
You can use that too, this is pasta mset for 4.X (more stable than the PBT).

OK, from my understanding, forget anything about old cfw, replace pasta 4.5 launcher instead of palatine launcher without using cubic ninja as that topic, update sysnand with sysupdate and get the firmware to 9.2 in the pasta 4.5 then using regionthree to cross region? Am I right

I think I see the topic in my country taut said about regionthree works with 4.x-9

Quick question

If you're running 4.5 with no Cubic Ninja, can you upgrade to 9.2 and not upgrade MSET and use this that way?

Okay so out of the opinions of those who have pasta. I'm currently using gateway. I've been wanting to switch to pasta on my 9.0 n3ds. My worry is how future proof do you think this is for new games coming out? Should I wait if I'm worried about new game compatibility?
At this point in time, it's not. If a game requires > 9.2 (Xenoblade, Codename STEAM, Pokemon Shuffle/Rumble) it won't work.
That's not to say they'll never work, as means are possible but simply not available currently.
If a game requires <= 9.2 (which some new releases do, just how this works) it's fine though.

Something went wrong with the process, I have got the cubic ninja jpn instead of USA, is there any method to get across the region, I own old 3ds us run 4.x of sysnand, I think I see the method that across the region with gateway file

I thought there's no physical copy of cubic ninja in japan and only eshop version but got pulled of because of ninjhax

Correct me if I am wrong but if/when emuNAND support becomes a reality, all of these games will work since we will be able to "update" our firmwares so that new games are supported.

Not entirely. Take Palantine for example. It uses an emuNAND (RedNAND) to install CIA's to, however it's not update-able because that would break the code that makes it a CFW.

A Pasta emuNAND is only really useful (update-wise) for 4.x users who don't want to update their sysnand, and people who would rather work in an emuNAND environment instead of installing things directly to sysNAND.

This, of course, is assuming that no future developments are made on finding the addresses needed to be patched in later firmware versions to disable sig checks.

Meanwhile, look at rxMode. emuNAND upgrading works fine there. Assuming firmlaunch goes according to plan, Pasta should be able to, too.
