FINALLY I got this thing working, this took me how many months exactly? It was painfully obvious too once I read the code properly and started naming game functions.
-created a timer patch for gt cube which fixes all the random speedups the game still had, this should be the last game with speed problems
Amazing job Fix! You've done so much on this project, it's really amazing how far it has come since Crediar made it open source. Congrats on 100% compatibility.

im not sure what you mean by official emulator? nintendo only offically allow some n64 titles as wad files but no emulator.
Well that means Nintendo has basically coded an emulator and there has to be a way to exploit it to load any game you want, right?

using wii or wiiu?
Same error on SD and USB?

some ppl said pimp my wii isnt very thrustworthy
I'm on a wii, I put the games and path on a USB and SD then tried them both at different times. And it gave me the same error.

I can't use wad manager anymore since my Wii remote without motion plus doesn't work anymore. Should I try WiiMod? My only Wii remote that works has Motion plus.

There have been limited success in switching N64 ROMS in the wad file of a base N64 game but some games simply won't run due to the Wii not having enough RAM and other roms needing modifications such as external texture files (Pokémon Puzzle League for example). Even still some official N64 VC games sometimes have issues such as frame rate drops.

It's very barebones. It works fine when injected with some games, but overall it's fairly lackluster. If you have N64 games you really want to play on the Wii, it wouldn't hurt to check it out, but don't expect great compatibility or any features beyond what you'd see on the N64.

Is there a way to force a Game ID in Nintendont?
For example I have Super Smash Bros Melee and the 20xx Training Pack (a mod for melee) and the both Show up as GALE01 even if I make the name of folder for the modded version "Melee 20xx [G02E01]".

Nintendont shows 2 GALE01 games and both run the seperate versions, But cfg loader only shows one and If I try to launch it gets confused and hangs at
Code:
IOS58......

Cfg Loader loads Nintendont and autoboots the game as expected if I only have one iso present.

Everything else is perfect, I just want to be able to load up vanilla Melee without popping in a different SD/USB, which is pretty minor all things considered.

Try to think logically!
Is there a way to force a Game ID in Nintendont?

Isn't that a problem with the games themselves? They should have different ID to begin with

Nintendont shows 2 GALE01 games and both run the seperate versions, But cfg loader only shows one and If I try to launch it gets confused and hangs at...

So it is not a Nintendont problem but a "problem" with cfg loader

no idea what is happening do you have like a custom homebrew channel theme or something?

Nintendont does not give game ids at all it just reads the iso header for the game id, if the 20xx pack has the same gameid then its not our fault is it? just change the gameid of the iso with an hex editor.

As said earlier, this is a CFG USB Loader problem. This is fairly easy fix though, I had the same problem trying to load Melee and Melee: SD Remix in USB Loader GX. You need to download a free hex editor, like HxD, open the 20XX iso, and then change the GameID which should be the first 6 bytes. Just change that, save it, and then play. It will create a new save file however, because it's treated like a separate game. You can take a completed melee .gci save file and do the same process to make it work with the new ID.

As said earlier, this is a CFG USB Loader problem. ...

not exactly. I quoted "problem" as most loaders use gameid to manage games and hide games with duplicated ID to avoid double listing of 2 disk games.
The proper way is of course change the gameid of the games themselves (like the instruction you have given) as they behave as different games.

I don't get it... If he/she's using a Wii, then why not use ModMii? Its absolutely foolproof and works beautifully.
I don't know if Modmii is still recommending MMM as that might not work with Wiimotes with motion plus.
But quiet a few wad managers have updated versions with wii motion plus support. Using Pimp my Wii just to fix a simple wad manager problem is certainly a bad idea.

IIRC, MMM does work with Wiimotion+.
If not, just use wiimodlite instead of MMM and just follow everything else on the guide.

today just some more adjustments to japanese only games:
-slightly adjusted the gt cube timer to work a bit more accurate
-added patches for nintendo puzzle collection and panel de pon in order to fix its weird timer issues
I dont know why I felt like uploading this to youtube but eh here you go, I just wanted to see how accurate the timer patch is so I played for a while and recorded it to then compare video and ingame time:

That game looks just like Pokémon Puzzle League that I love playing so much.
